Well, I wouldn't do it. Str is always good for more threat and I'm almost certain it contributes to your parry % (don't quote me on that though).

What Maje described, if accurate, would not be intended or desirable. Blizzard can, has - and will break powerful previous-tier set bonuses if they encourage this sort of behaviour. I believe the Moonkin T11 is the most recent example of this. So while Maje's quotes may ring true for now, I wouldn't worry much about it staying true for much longer.

This feedback just needs to filter back up to Blizzard, whether it be via them reading these forums themselves, or someone reposting Maje's findings on the PTR forum.

hello, one short question: my gear is 359, i have the t4 bonus and cs glyphe.
i have now:
crit 1932 haste 1362 mastery 609.
is this ok? or too less mastery now? my dps is good if a hardcast ai. if i push 2 arkanes between the SS, my dps goes down i can have alternatively:
crit 1982 haste 1196 mastery 705
crit 1982 haste 1094 mastery 807
crit 1982 haste 935 mastery 966
would this better with more wq? oder should i go to more haste?
i see a lot of raid-progressed hunters with 900-1100 haste, why they dont go to the caps at 1346 or 1486 ?
please help me i cant find a answer with math calc and femaledwarf.

I am a new discipline priest but I have been playing wow for some time. I just need some help on how to spec and stat my priest. I have started heroics and found it difficult I have healed three so far and only finished two. Stonecore and Grim Batol. I started Vortex today and got the achievement but had some one else heal and I went to shadow. I couldn't keep up healing on the last boss well that and I had to keep dispelling every body. I know I want to heal, but want to know what I am doing wrong. I will leave you with my armory web page so you can see me and my stats.

I'm not sure if this should be posted here or not, but I'm kinda curious as to how much DPS you guys are pulling that are near BiS or 359s. Just want to get a marker for myself.

Rage Potion.

I tooled around with the rage potion prospect in Cata, before I was raid geared and over the 8% hit cap. Best combo nation is Battle Shout (+30), Berserker's Rage (+6 rage) and a Rage Potion (+40-60 rage) can get you up to a full rage bar entering into combat and hit Inner Rage and spam Cleave, WW. Or skip the potion constantly Battle Shout (30sec cd) and Berserker Rage (24 sec CD) and build up your rage bar that way. If you are using TG, and have enough Mastery, Berserker's Rage will generate +8 rage if glyphed.

Arms vs Fury

I was challenged by an Arms Warrior in a recent dungeon to a dps race. Not gonna lie, ARMS owns AoE damage on trash, but when it came to Boss fights my Fury spec bested him. It comes down to the timing and use of CD's to beat the next melee dpser. Always use a CD immediately before or after Collosus Smash to take advantage of the 6 sec window w/o armor. The CD on CS is 20 sec and when it procs another CD (racial, profession, class, trinket, potion) should be available. Get your timing down to use your CD's in conjunction with CS and no ARMS Warrior should get close to Fury in a single target fight.

Macros

Noticed a number of Macros posted above my simplest one is:

Immediately after that Raging Blow is available due to Berserker rage not waiting around for it to proc.

Ive been playing arms the past couple of months and I can out dps equally geared fury warriors by a few thousand dps. This doesn't mean that arms is the superior spec, but that i play arms better than they play fury. Using a single scenario, where human error can interfere, is a terrible way to determine the superior spec. The better way is to run thousands of simulations and extensive math as it allows RNG and human error to not be a factor.

According to my testing, it will be SMF>TG>Arms for 4.2 with arms being about 1k dps behind. This was done with 4.1 BIS gear (not the ones loaded in SimC as they are terribly outdated) and without charge in the mix. TG was very close behind SMF and is very likely to pull ahead when dual Sulfuras, The Extinguished Hand are acquired.
