Thank you for your response Sarvius. You're right about my numbers not being as bad as I think they are. Everyone else in my group is saying differently. Thank God everyone knows Firelands is not great for rogues with all the target switching. I am working on a combat set, and the numbers are steady. So, as we move through different bosses in Firelands, I'll bring as much utility as possible as well as decent numbers. Thanks again.

guys, whats up with the new tier gear? im a bit puzzled about the amount of crit im going to be runing around with... im tryin to get my head around this but i rely could use some other views on this. looking at the gear its all crit+exp or crit+hit.. im going to lose a lot of haste/mastery by equipping this thus lowering my dps :O is there an explernation to why blizz have done this or is it just a case of fail blizz? some of the firelands gear boasts some nice haste+mastery stats but the tier looks terrible! what are we going to do with all this crit??

Hmmm isn't it 916 haste and not 917 even with the rounding ? You are right about the 2005 I honestly forgot the exact number when I was typing this since I never went for it, though I have 2009 haste so it doesn't matter.


o don't mind my spec , I've been playing around with it. My usual spec is 8/2/31 , I recently tried out 8/1/32 to max out nature bounty for a guaranteed regrowth crit since the change to crit healing. Yesterday after regemming I just specced 9/0/32 to see the healing gain and mana loss. Also glyph of thorn was just in for Alysrazor, 21k tick thorns hurts.

I do enjoy the snap heal from regrowth crit so I suppose I could just spec out of Nature's cure and keep 3/3 nature bounty and still go back to an 8/2/31 spec. Since there really insn't much to dispell in Fireland. But anyways speccing wasn't really my question.


My mastery went from 18% to 11% so the 2005 haste cap is really worth that much in a 10 man environnement ?

I am a fire mage and I am having trouble with my DPS in Firelands and ZG/ZA.

I start the encounter with Living Bomb, Flame Orb then nuke with Fireball and use Hot Streak, Impact whenever possible and I have Combustion Helper to get better efficieny off Combustion. All seems to be good and I try my best to do the highest damage possible but still I have low DPS. I am using the Burn Rotation mentioned in Fire Mage Compendium.

My gear is not so good at the moment. I haven't played for a long time and my gears are old but did the best I could to find better gear this week. I will get 3/5 Firelord's Vesments set through Justice points by the middle of the next week. Will it make me better in DPS?

I am open to all suggestions. Thanks already.
