i cant seem to get as much dps out of this rotation, i find it better to just spam mind spike x3 then mind blast. Then mind flay when dark angle is ready. Please respond and tell me whats right and wrong

I just got back into the game and there are several changes from when I played so if a few people could clue me in on these questions it would be fantastic.

1. If there is a current Best in slot gear list somewhere could someone direct me to it.

2. Is it viable to play arms in berserker stance only using slam, mortal strike, and colossus smash. I feel that slam hits the hardest among my abilities so it seems logical with a 5% damage boost.

3. Is haste still an unwanted stat for arms?

4. I am currently spec'd 31/5/5 is that the best spec for raiding? Also what major glyphs do you use? I am currently using Colossus smash only. I don't know what else to use.

5. Do you use bladestorm on single target at all?

If you mean opener rotation, you totally wrong. Dots have much more DPET, so wasting time for casting MS is a dps loss.

Assuming the 4pc T12 is worthwhile for Arcane, which 4 pieces should we be using?

If the 4 piece becomes better 2 piece+off pieces, you would use Tier Helm, Shoulders, Chest and Leggings with Ragnaros Gloves

Thanks Dar. That's sorta what I was assuming, just wanted to be sure I wasn't overlooking something. Right now I'm running head/chest and Ragnaros gloves, planning on buying the legs shortly. I wasn't originally planning on going with the 4 piece so I passed my shoulders last week

. Guess I'll have to snag em the next time they drop!

Has it been confirmed that 4T12N + Gloves yields more dps than 2pce(Helm+Leg) + off shoulder and chest? I was under the impression that Simcraft was still modeling the old PTR set bonus and that the correct set bonus hasn't been simmed yet?

With the estimated dps / uptime of the new 2 piece tier bonus being so low, are the pure stat upgrades from going from the old 4 piece tier bonus to a 2 set t10 t set t11 worth going for or would it be better to wait and pick up a few more 378 pieces before making the jump?

Been looking for this info for a while now and I see the first post isn't updated for a while aswell. As a fire mage should I still reforge/gem into Crit mostly or is it haste now?
