Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to really test this in a raid setting since I got EoP. Although, a test dummy is pretty unrealiable due to human error, I've also noticed higher dps on a 5 min test with no Lust or Wolves.
Thank you for info.
Our combatlogs is closed for public now, but I also can confirm that setup with SPD axe and LvB in rotation bring more DPS.
I was able to test two setups and different rotations on Shannox(HM)- 7 tries and Majordomo(HM)-13 tries.
This conversation is really moot. By the time a warrior tank can put his hands on the agility cloak after all the dps who want it, he is already in full 378 gear and block cap is no longer an issue. And if he decides to still use it in a mastery heavy set - thats fine, but that would be a build specific decision that has nothing to do with what is attempted to be addressed here.
And there probably wont be any definitive BIS list for this expansion as almost every heroic fight so far seems to have its own touch in terms of tank gearing requirements.
Has there been any confirmation as to whether T 12 4pc is better or worse than T11.5 4pc? Also, for my situation specifically I have 3/4 T11.5 (gloves, legs, chest), with 1/4 T11 (shoulders). Would it be worth keeping those 4 or upgrading to T12 4 pc / T12 2 pc + 2 offset pieces?
Forgive me if this has been asked - I've scanned and searched both this thread and the more general lock thread.
Where does CoE fit into this priority order? Is adding CoE after the rest of the optimal opener well... optimal?
Depends, when you have an unholy dk in your group, he will applly the debuff, else, you are the one that puts it up before any other spell you cast. You just need to be sure that the debuff is on the boss or a long-living add, either by you or the unholy dk.
Which would you prefer? They are around the same price to either purchase or have made on my server (depending on the ember price). I like the haste and spirit of the Quenched fire...but the crit is pretty decent on the Implicit with the new crit changes. Obviously the stats are somewhat situational...guess I'm looking for more of a BIS answer.
i feel as if im doing something wrong.. could someone look at my spec and a log from a 25m Baleroc kill... i was told by some that i should be doing more dps at my gear level but i cant figure out if its just my rotation that im slacking on or if its my gemming/reforging... i sometimes have difficulty with certain fights but those are teh ones that dont seem to be very melee friendly.. any insight would be greatly appreciated
i cant seem to get as much dps out of this rotation, i find it better to just spam mind spike x3 then mind blast. Then mind flay when dark angle is ready. Please respond and tell me whats right and wrong
Why would you even do this? The only time you should Mind Spike/MB spam is on trash or adds on fights with very little health (A good rule to use is that if your target wont stay alive as long as one full duration of your dots).
