At the top where it says Analyze or Damage Done, click and from that drop down menu select LOG BROWSER. In the first box it says Queries Show all events (remove, copy). Hit Remove. Then click Paste and add the following and hit Run.
This should show almost everything you were casting that relates to your rotation.
My first thoughts were that you might need a better tracking system. Your second Colossus Smash was done almost 10 seconds late. Your CD stacking is off. For example Death Wish should be used so that it lines up with 2 Colossus Smash, and ideally recklessness would be used during a DW. Think about the duration, movement, and phases of the fight when you plan your CD usage bc better stacking will give you huge bursts of damage.
-HS usage looks off in places but I can't confirm that bc I can't see how much rage you had. Starving yourself might be what is causing you to not get enough gcd's in during CS. Correcting how you use CS will greatly improve your damage.
-Your executioner stacks dropped @ [23:08:44.511].
-Use a golemblood potion as your tank is doing a countdown. We call this pre-potting. Also your potion usage at 5:08 wasn't timed well. It was mid fight, mid bloodlust, not stacked with other cds. Your 2nd potion should be used with deathwish and recklessness. Ideally during bloodlust or execute phase depenending on the fight.
-Never cast whirlwind unless you are hitting a minimum of 4 targets.
-You are under expertise cap. Use wowreforge.com to help get as close to 781 rating as possible.
Fury should look like... basic rotation maintained (don't be trigger happy on HS), react well to procs, save as much rage as you can to dump during CS, cooldowns are always stacked in order to maximize.
Use logs. Study yourself. Study other people. Keep asking questions
There was a post some time ago about what point tg gets superior to smf.
I can safely say now it's the second you step into hc modes in firelands.
Why you may ask.
When the conversation started we haven't taken into account the availability of firestones. We assumed that their drop rate would be high or at least higher than zod's drop chance. For the time being this seems to be not true. Firestones seem to have lower drop chance than even the mount from ragnaros, and all reports lean to that. The tickets made concerning the deal were mostly replied with answers that read something between "working as intended" and "we got no clue about the actual drop rates only desingers do".
So for all of you concerning staying smf till you are able to get sulfuras hc , this is a good point to reconsider.
My guess is that we're going to see a change in the drop rate of these items.
GMs will almost always tell you things are ''working as intended'' But I'm in the same camp, got cleavers and have been hoping to see a firestone drop.
hey im making an assasination rogue for pve and lil bit of arena. i was wondering whats ur guys and gals opinion on two best ones. i got JC for one already but its a tossup between engineering, LW and i seen couple rogues using ALCH which doesnt seem to be a bad idea but seems that gets the most agility. but ur opinions would much be thanked.
How do affliction players manage bane of doom on multitarget fights? Having it reapplied by soul swap to the second target obviously isn't ideal, and re-applying it after soul swapping would lose a nontrivial amount of uptime over the course of a longer fight. Do people prefer just switching to agony on targets that will frequently be soul swap targets? Or is there some elegant solution that's escaping me?
A lot of players on my server are already all heroic t11, and skip normal mode t12 and are working entirely on heroics. There is no reason for them to waste their time on a 7 ilvl upgrade when they can instead get 391 gear. Secondly, Mantle of Patience is not upgradable, where the other two t12 options are.
With that being said, why are you concentrating on a BiS list while not considering heroic options? Did I miss where you specified that it was strictly for non-heroic gear?
And the conversation is far from moot, as I run a 10 man raid and the only agi user we have has already seen it drop.
You will find that the simcraft profiles from the simcraft thread quickly converge on a generally agreed on BiS list. Running your own set through simcraft will give you a rough idea of what *your* stat scaling values are for you. Given that there are only two or three options in each slot a separate discussion thread for gear seems mostly pointless.
I would like to get some clarification on Affliction stat priorities and reforging. As stated by Jmickey the stat priority is:
Int >> Hit (to cap) > Haste > Crit > Mastery.
My question is whether this stat priority list is always the golden rule. The reason I ask this is due to the haste threshold values for dots. We know that at certain haste percentages we get will get extra tick from either Corruption, UA, or BoA. Now between the stated haste values, I assume (correct me if I am wrong) that extra haste has no impact on these three dots other than affecting the GCD. So for example if I am at 2200 haste rating, I would be 207 hate over an extra corruption tick and 288 haste lower than the next threshold value for BoA. Also for this example assume that I cannot get my haste rating any higher. So I've met Corruption's 2 extra ticks threshold but I cannot reach the next threshold, which is BoA at 2488 haste.
The Big Question: Would it be a dps increase to reforge the extra haste to crit (which is the next stat on the priority list) until I am able to meet the next threshold, or does haste still provide a higher benefit than crit at all haste levels?
I can't answer all of your questions, but here's a few:
2. How long duration does Bane of Doom have with that Haste Rating?
Bane of Doom isn't affected by haste at all, not duration or even tick intervals. Regardless of gear or buffs it will tick every 15 seconds for a total of 4 ticks in 60 seconds.
3. How long duration does Corruption have with that Haste Rating?
4. How long duration does Immolate have with that Haste Rating?
Neither Corruption nor Immolate have their durations affected by haste rating. What haste does is it increases the number of ticks in between the application of the DOT and the time the DOT falls off. For example, with 2,000 Haste Rating Corruption gets 2 additional ticks for a total of 8 over 18 seconds and Immolate gets 1 additional tick for a total of 6 over 15 seconds. This is true for most DOTs and HOTs in Cataclysm.
Stance dancing does not gain you 5% it does gain you 5% dmg on the abilities, autohits and opportunity strikes that happen in berserker stance. You use OP every 6 Seconds and if you are really good you have no heroics/rage overflow in that time frame and as little white hits as possible. You can stay 1/6 of the time in Battle Stance. So about 1/15 of your heroics, 1/10 of your white hits and 1/10 of your opportunity strikes are in battlestance. Also in AoE mode you want to thunderclap every CD (best with Sweeping Strikes) as it hits harder than Whirlwind and Cleave. Also you want to use Overpower that you can spend more rage for cleave. That's all assuming no error and latency. And little dmg income to generate to much Rage. Stance Dancing is at best a 3,5% dmg improvement. Something you can not execute on fights you know perfect and less on fights you have to learn. I've done Stancedancing and not Stancedancing, personal records were without Stancedancing. I have low latency (<30MS) and do little error.
