thx Sinnaa. the agil bonus is less than adding an agil gem. so I don't mind that. I will check out the 4.2, thx for that. Any recommendations on finding the best gear choices for me? I hate to use the example again, but on robot, it gives a list of better and best gear. I mean if need be, I can always just find a place to look up rogue gear, but I was hoping there was something like that in Shadowcraft or if you know of a better place, I'm happy to research it. thx for your help. And btw, I reforged and regemmed and it has already made a huge difference. thx again for all of y'all's hard work for the rest of us.

I am having troubles healing and am looking for some constructive input as I have still not picked up healing on my pally in Cata and frustration is setting in. In most fights I am below our druid healers by at least 20% and their LB heals the tank as much as I do.

Conserve mana/normal healing going out (approx 7 sec):

HS, DL, CS, WoG, HL (HS, WoG & HL can be used on off tank or raid)

High Heals (approx 6 sec):

HS, DL, WoG, DL (HS & WoG can be used on off tank or raid)

In looking at WoL I don't see other pallies using CS so am wondering if using it to get an instant heal quicker it just dumb. I judge on cool down and stay in melee range most fights.

So I'm not a big wow math guy, but I do like maximizing my dps.

I"m very close to unlocking [Moonwell Chalice], but I'm not sure what two trinkets i should be going with.

I currently run with [Darkmoon Card: Volcano] and [Theralion's Mirror]

I never really thought of the soul casket, becuase i thought the above two were better.

But now that we have access to the [Moonwell Chalice], is it an actual upgrade vs any of the above. Which two trinkets should we be using here?

If this has already been talked about for an arcane mage I apologize, but i didn't see it.

Most things have been pointed out and the major issue for you is your rotation and spell usage. You don't use whirlwind on a single target, nor do you use heroic throw while in melee range with a boss. You might also want to reconsider your glove enchant.

We had a discussion about the usage of CS in a healing rotation.
In 99.9% of the fights you can't/shouldn't use it. The GCD and the mana spent on CS is not worth 1 HP.
Getting into melee range is absolutly favorable IMO using DP (announcing it first to your healing pals of course)
you get extra mana through melee hits and judgement. CS could be a viable option in this scenario if your mana is not depleted.

Concerning the Druid:
I would love to have a druid in my raid who can save everybody's lives and hot the tank to support me.
I wouldn't be concerned about this. Obviously your healing is lower than a druid's healing, but that is due to the fact that you are primarily healing the tanks an not the raid.

If you guys are binding all of your abilities to stances, how exactly are you keeping track of when to go back to battle to overpower? I am confused on how you guys keep track of when to stance to overpower,. Some sort of addon?

Keep overpower on the berserker bar, it'll still light up. Honestly, I make my battle and berserker stance bars look the exact same, I cant even tell I'm dancing.

Long time reader first time poster, lovethe forums guys very helpfull and a good read.

@Darria I also heal with a resto druid and a holy/disc priest, we are a very strong team and despite having assignments we also help each others target, working as a team especially in ten man raiding is essential, my best advice is stop worrying about meters, trust me having a druid keep hots on you're tank is awesome id rather look a bit worse on the meters if it means my assignment survives and we get a kill. On different fights different healer will do better healing then others so just relax and enjoy the kills, unless you're lowest on baleroc of course, best holy paladin fight i have done for awhile:P

This should show almost everything you were casting that relates to your rotation.

BTW, recently I have found useful functional on WoL site for rotation analyze.
You need to open Expression Editor for a fight and type this Query (replace {NAME} with character name you want to analyze):

sourceName="{NAME}" and type=TYPE_CAST

After that click "Run" button, switch to Timeline tab and click "Plot spells timeline" button. You will see visual view of ability usage.
I found this method very useful so decided to post it here, maybe it helps someone

Hi just wanted to quickly say that I've been looking for this since I found this thread and I'm struggling to find it.
