I thought more or less the same as Hinkakan, but I actually believe there must be some break point in between Fireball being below the GCD and Pyroblast being at the GCD where the DPS gain with the change is maximum. I however have no idea on how to model that, though.
your modeling a 1 sec FB because otherwise the stacks arent high enough to be worth switching
work out avg dmg pyro vs avg damage FB (remember 5% extra crit on pyro if 2 set T11)
if pyro hits 12% harder then its a better choice of spell at whatever stacks drop pyro under 1.12 sec (112% of 1 sec gcd FB)
adjust that 12% to whatever the difference is for you
does anyone have a link to a analysis of T12 vs T11
because the T11 bonuses are huge (4 set is 10% haste which is worth 1280 haste rating)
and the T12 seems very underwhelming
Im sort of in the same situation as Dragilion, aside from just reading here and now posting my first post :P
I think that u need a bunch of hit and expertise for the current raid instances. I find myself often (not too often, but it keeps in my mind to appear so ...) in the situation where i start berserk with 100 nrg (right after TF) and keep missing the first 2 sometimes even 3 styles. This feels just wrong especially with bloodlust on where u faster regenerate nrg as u can spend when u miss. This leads me to be nrg capped after 2-3 seconds of berserk.
In really bad situations even some "lucky" clearcasts proccs and im still not able to spend my energy.
Another good point to hit and exp is it makes our swipe hit more often which comes in handy at ryholith and ragnaross (and beth'tilac, yea i saw some ferals on WoL swipeing the shit out of some broodlings ). There are a lot more situations coming to my mind where i'd like to hit THAT style and not giving away a trinket procc for example.
And here i just want to thanks all of you guys who are doing the work to provide us non-mathmagicians with data we can work with . I wouldn't know what to do without you. A big part of those credits go to you -> World of Logs - Real Time Raid Analysis (you may want to check out V&T(10hc) and Cho(10hc) too ;P )
