Hi,

I got 3 Questions.

1. Mutilate dpsing says when target is below 35% use backstab instaed of mutilate because of the extra energy backstab provides. But is mutilate stronger if you have nearly "unlimited" energy ? Normaly in the Alysrazor encounter I am the one flying arround, what means after some stacks I got so much haste that I have energy capped sometims while flying, because of the GCD. Would it make sense to you Mutilate when having enough energy regen (haste) ?

2. In the Staghelm as well as in Ragnaros Encounter generally spoken is combat stronger than mutilate ? If so, I would considers respec/forge/gem for those 2 encounters.

3. what is currently the highest dps spec for single target ?

Thank you very much for your reply. I think it will help a lot. I was always waiting to maximize Inq before using it. It looks like I have to mash it as well as all my CD's.

So sorry to ask this question here but i just cant seem to find the answer. When you open your char sheet, is the haste number that is displayed only haste from the gear you have on, or does it take into account talents. Right now it says I have 10.25% haste (1312 haste rating), now is that what i have with 3/3 pathing or do i actually have 13.25% haste with talents? very sorry to ask such a retarded question.

I am curious why there still is no haste table in this thread. It's one of the things you'd expect on Elitist Jerks =)
I myself have discovered that when I have 946 Haste, while wearing my T11 4pc set, a full AB stack and Time Warp, I am casting for exactly 1second (also I'm a BE, no goblin)
Hope this sets some of you off to help work out the other combo's
Also I'd like to know just how much haste rating it would take to make up for the T11 4pc in full raid gear if any1 knows how.

Guys, i have a question that is yet unanswered to me. I'm a new player so bare with me. Haste, it's clear, we not goblins need to reach 2589 which is fairly easy with current gear levels.Then what?I asked some locks in high ranking guilds(guilty as sin, SHAC) at my server and they all said after that stack mastery, whether you are affliction or destro doesn't matter. However this guide supports that critical is more recommended.I quote:"179.28 mastery provides a 1.35% increase to all fire damage we do. As 90%+ of our damage comes from fire spells, mastery is not a bad stat, however, the increase per point is low enough that we will not prioritize mastery over crit or haste until much higher gear levels." Much higher levels means what right now? When the article was written i guess the priority was ok as shown, you had 359 so you tried for haste plateaus then you went 371 with which you could reach 2589 then i guess it was mastery all the way?I know simcraft etc which i will use the whole time. Just need an opinion from more experienced players. For instance anyone knows any soft caps for mastery and crit?Maybe we hit haste cap, then some crit cap then mastery cap?Anyone simmed mastery and crit gain after the 2589 cap?Thanks in advance and thank you EJs for lighting the way.

How important is hit and expertise to a tankadin now? I was gemmed and reforged mostly for mastery, but had some healers complaining that I was taking too much damage so I went for more dodge and parry and stam. Would really appreciate some help here.

Frost PvP stuff

(first time post, not too sure if this is the right thread but the pvp thread was not accessible to me)

What is the preferred stat at the moment for a frost mage focused on arenas and rBGs?
I see a lot of people talking about mastery but crit still seems more appealing to me in the long run.
My assumption is probably faulty but I would like to understand why.

I took a look at your armory link. My gear is about equivalent to yours and I'm reforged/gemmed heavily for mastery. It has defiantely helped slow the rate I take damage. I haven't had any healer I consider halfway competent complain about the rate I take damage. Also remember you can't block attacks from behind. if you regularly had mobs get behind you when going mastery it won't help.

I did notice that you have significantly more hit and expertise than I do. Up thread it mentions the hit and expertise are always suppar compared to mitigation (which is the subject of your question). As stated in the thread other than getting the +10 from a glyphed seal of truth expertise and hit are completely unnecessary.

I would recommend downloading an add-on such as helium if you haven't already. Any add on that will let you use Rightous Defense, Hand of Protection and Hand of Salvation on your party members without needing to retarget is useful.
