You should defenitely get the Mirror trinket from Tol Barad.
It heavily boosts your Mastery rating.

Is there a consensus on the value of the rogue t12 2pc set bonus?
I've read that the proc mechanic is suffering from "munching" and therefore severely reduces it's value.

Does Metamorphosis take a snapshot of your Mastery when you use it for determining the bonus from Mastery? Or does it update constantly? What I'm asking is if I should use the Moonwell Chalice before or after I use Meta.

Standing behind the claw, right between the claw and the first leg you can dps without getting parried, but while still eating the cleaves.

Alright thanks! I was unaware of the solver... I thought it just used a static rotation for each spec.

I'm a bit stuck. Obviously Moonwell Chalice is BiS for Demonology, even in heroic T12, so I'll be picking that one up, but I cant figure out whether I should replace my DMC: Volcano with normal Necromantic Focus to go with the chalice or keep DMC to use with the chalice. Mind you, I'm in normal T12 gear, so I won't bother with heroic necromantic focus.

Sim it out yourself, it doesn't take long and you can save everyone else alot of time of having to do it for you.

However, if my memory serves me correctly, I think they DMC:V and Normal Necromantic Focus are close enough that you shouldn't have to worry about getting it. Of course that was simmed with my gear, a while back.

Run it yourself to see if it is a worthwhile upgrade or if you are better off just waiting for heroic.

Well if I did it right DMC did about 300 more DPS in my testing, but I'm new to simming so god knows i could have done something wrong.

I have been Holy since the start of the expansion with a Shadow off-spec for questing. Since there are zero useful rewards from the dailies, and becuase I felt that there was a use for it on some fights in Firelands, I finally switched my off-spec to Disc so that I can switch between the two specs as needed in raids.

As Holy I geared, gemmed and reforged with the rough priority Int > Spirit >>> Haste > Mastery >> Crit. I raid 10-man in a fairly casual guild (currently 2/7 normal) so my raid composition is quite variable, I cannot rely on getting the Haste buff for example. I have had no real issues with mana like this and I found that taking Spirit gear and reforging the other stat to Haste worked well for me and gave me very respectable throughput values. I had (at 4.2 launch) a top-ten worldwide HPS value on WoL for Halfus, mostly becuase the Resto Shaman I did it with sucks but overall I feel that I was putting out pretty good values as Holy in the last tier.

I haven't played Disc enough yet to get a good feel for it, so my question is whether it is fine to keepo my current gearing strategy or if I need a more balanced solution for Disc. At the moment I'm not quite feeling like the throughput is there, but I also need to make better use of BT so it may just be that.

I guess this is really the neverneding debate about stat balance so perhaps there isn't a simple answer anyway.
