Hi, I have been looking on the internet for a long time and i just cant find the answer what is the bis set for destruction warlock in 3.3.5 INCLUDING ruby sanctum. Generally the most problems i have come from choosing trinkets i cant decide wnich one should i pick.... DFO CTS or Phylactery?? Three trinkets, 2 slots :|
About trinkets most useful, i have only Essence of Eternal, Heart of Rage, Apparatus and Dwyer'd Caber yet (none heroic). Dwyer'd proc every 50sec +-; Heart of Rage have a long time to proc(i guess) and Apparatus/Essence is usable trinket.
On this case which is the best combination?

As a suggestion, I think it would be extremely helpful if someone would like to post some rough target DPS estimates against a target dummy, un-raid-buffed, based on gear level. This should help many players/readers see at a glance "am I doing the right thing for my gear level" ? Obviously there are plenty of variables to consider, gear, gems, reforge, rotation. But a bulk park figure would be great.
For example with my 361 level shadow priest I cannot get more than 9.5K-10.5K out of a "completely free" boss level, target dummy (ie not a dummy suffering from other players' debufs). With my pally and 356 level gear I get easily 12K-14K even without gear enchants. With my 364 level hunter I top 20K. If I had a chart to use as a bulk park I'd know whether my build/choices are up to scratch.

I wanna talk about "Gurthalak, Voice of the Deeps" 4 days ago i get in on ptr for my pally and i done some testing of it(i get 390lvl from Raid Finder). Tentacle spawn right in the middle(u can see in on my screenshots) of your target(don't sure where it will spawn on AoE tentacle is too small to see), tentacle CAN'T move and bacause of that if target moves like slimes on Yor'sahj it only makes 1 hit then slime got too far away and tentacle stay and do nothing, same at Ultraxion there is drake hanging in the air and even if tentacle spawn it spawn 100+ yards below of boss= no damage at all completly useless here. About proc CD i don't see it at all, sometimes 2 mins of fight ZERO tentacles, sometimes it spawn and in 2 sec another one spawn and 3 sec after third spawn(u can see 3 of them at one time on my screenshots below, also detail damage of them against boss). P.S. I have 4T13(all from LFR 384lvl) and 2 trinkets 384lvl trinkets Vessel of Acceleration and Creche of the Final dragon(from LFR). All recount data from boss dummy, i got BoM buff and Flask of Titanic Strength. Tentacles have 77k hp and can be targeted.
Edited: Just tested AoE spawn - it can spawn at any target what was hitted by divine storm and will start attack it.
I'm working up a mage alt and I've mostly been using a fire spec, but lately tried arcane. With fire I was consuming mana like crazy, but putting out solid sustained dps above 19K in t11 gear (starting to build t12 set). With arcane I never run out of mana but dps is 17K to 18K (on raid bosses).
I've optimized the reforging, gems and use the recommended rotations listed in here. Is this the normal outcome comparison between fire and arc?
Any idea if Flameblast ever 'consumed' UE-FT? It doesn't look as though it did in my brief log search, but the considerably higher average damage over Iceblast makes me wonder. If it doesn't consume UE-FT then perhaps it benefits from the buff -without- consuming it.. or the innate damage range on Flameblast is just that much higher. Something to look for.
It wont change a thing about overall dps if flameblast consumes UE-Ft. And it would surely be a bug to be fixed to benefit from UE-FT without consuming it if it's currently the reality.
Single target dps is already there for enh, and it's predictably true that AE capacity is coming for 4.3. But it is not that interesting to find out if it's 10 or 9 that our AE performance will improve to from 5. Let's talk more about PVP (i assume pvp research still alive here?)

That's what's confirmed to be had, and what's more to look for is something to do with Seasoned Wind. Since the class was created, Enh 21st position talent has always been shitty. I am expecting seasoned wind would give a short time spell-retard effect to target (like 20%/40% retarded for 5 sec) when wind shear successfully interrupts the spell.
I have H Necromantic Focus, DMC::V and Moonwell Chalice and I'm wondering which is the best to use and in what situations.
Is it worth using the MWC on CD or always waiting for my next Meta? Is it worth delaying Meta for MWC?
Which combination of the three is best? I've been using MWC and H NF simply because it adds up to more mastery for my first Meta+Doomguard. I feel like the H NF is more reliable because firelands fights are getting very short for my guild now and we're frequently killing the boss 10~sec before my DMC would proc again.
