I have a confession- I'm awful as combat. I'd say I can't stand the spec, but that's probably because I'm not too used to it. The constant energy capping (especially with Matrix and Hungerer up in AR) is crap coming from Assassination, the Bandit's Guile is more annoying than steadily flowing, and Killing Spree is the worst (this, I will not contest).
I'm looking for any suggestions to improve my play. Here are some logs as me as Assassination:
World of Logs - Real Time Raid Analysis 02-11, 09-11, 10-11
and as Combat:
World of Logs - Real Time Raid Analysis
And an armoury link:
Quotey @ Aggramar - Game - World of Warcraft
I played as Assassination on Heroic Rag because I'm more comfortable with it- I had a couple tries as combat and felt it wasn't worth wasting the raid's time on figuring it out. I went from awful on it as Assassination to I assume halfway decent (feedback on my Assa play is appreciated too). I played as combat this week and put out poor showings on Shannox and Staghelm. Staghelm is annoying, as I generally find the cats are dead by the time I can activate Blade Flurry, and I don't want to lose Bandit's Guile stacks so a lot of the time I'm just autoattacking them.
Baleroc was better than Shannox, but I didn't get Countdown once so 30k in my gear probably isn't good enough.
I try to follow the pirority list from the combat thread: SS, RvS on 4 only, Evisc, refresh SnD with any spare CP.
World of Logs - Real Time Raid Analysis is the Baleroc log from tonight.
97% SnD uptime, which while not perfect, is I'd say respectable. The biggest error you'll immediatly notice is the lack of Killing Spree. I've always been wary of using it on the fight, but I'm going to work it in next week.
I assume Deep Insight being up 7 times to Shallow/Moderate's 28 is because SS/RvS refresh the first 2. That was a bit confusing at first.
If there's anything you want me to say, please ask. I want to be good at combat!
