Fury Warrior Macro Set With Download

I recently leveled a warrior alt and with a number of warriors in my guild needing a few pointers on macros, I've made a complete compilation of Fury Warrior Macros with suggested uses as well as a downloadable Warrior - Fury: Macro Set with Installation Instructions.

I'd appreciate any feedback, comments or bugs. This is only my first release and plan to release Macro Sets for other classes as well.

i was toying around with profiles for 4.3 (note that i have JC) and this one caught my eye the most.

a few key notes about it (note that HR ticks are with standard self/raid buffs (3/3 Speed, JotP, +5% haste)):
- 4p bonus
- 5th HR tick
- 6th HR tick with Seal of the Seven Signs and Ti'tahk, the Steps of Time proc
- 7th HR tick with DF, Seal of the Seven Signs and Ti'tahk, the Steps of Time proc
- extra 990 spirit from Heart of Unliving (with the change to JotP and the nerf to SoW i believe this trinket will be BiS)

in theory hitting the 6th HR tick won't be hard since the normal version of the staff gives enough haste already and almost every caster without legendary will want it (heroic version even more so). it might be hard to reach this when only 1 person will have the staff since most of the casters will want the buff but once a few get it it should be easy to get the buff by just standing close to them.

now the downside of all of this is that you are forced to use reckless gems (int/haste) and some pure haste gems instead of int gems in order to hit the 5th+ HR tick since the weapon has 0 haste on it. in my opinion sacrificing around 250 int for extra 990 spirit and haste for extra HR ticks is nothing and will not be noticeable.

i'm interested if anyone has made any similar profiles that would like to share them?

hey just wondering if any one could give us a hand with my dps? im 381 ilvl but cant for the life of me get above 24kdps on heroic rag, where as a 379 dk in my guild is pulling 30k most of the fight? im gemed and chanted right, im hit and exp capped, and im nearly positive i have the rotation down pat, getting really frustrated ! haha. any help would be great, cheers.

After reading both the unholy and Frost threads it states that Unholy>=2h Frost. Does anyone know is there is any proof of this? Any simulations or anything. I currently have the 391 Shannox heroic 2hand and replaced 2x365 1 hands.

I find new skills like the druid's lvl 87 symbiosis scary as hell. I just see less and less reasons to bring a rogue into a raid. It's not that I am afraid that I won't be taken, it's I am afraid I will have to reroll monk or drood just not to feel I am holding the raid back.

Yes Blizzard still has time to make changes, but seeing the massive lack in utility we bring as compared to other classes, and seeing that Blizzard seems to intend this gap to grow even further, is disheartening. I am starting to feel that even perfect play can not compensate for the fact that we don't bring any kind of synergy to a raid group.

Wishlisting: raid-wide (nerfed) Feint.

Apart from that, I don't think that dual-wielding Souldrinker will be viable on the majority of the upcoming content. Apart from huge threat/dps loss, it will only give you random self healing based on your current maximum HP. That might be useful on e.g. trash clearing or something like that but on the actual bosses where the damage is more or less predictable - no.

However, what I wanted to add: You can't compare x1% random self-heal with x2% avoidance/absorbs. I don't know when this breaks even, but when x1 close to x2, avoidance/absorbs will always win. Avoided/absorbed damage is better than a hit that you can heal up. Isn't that why Bliz gave us Mastery? -> To actually create a shield which -can- be there -before- Damage comes.

Not taking in account dps/threat (don't forget that they do half the healing as damage, damage might even be better with these swords!!), the selfhealing of dw souldrinker has to be a lot better than static avoidance/mastery/stam gain from 2h.

Anyone did the mats?

- 2x15% chance to proc, for ~7k heal (very rough estimation)
- obviously the offhand will not proc as often as the mainhand
- Lets say we are hit and exp capped
-> to be simple it might be close to 15% mh and 10% oh so = 25%
- with a GCD of 1,5 sec and a heal every 4 strikes it will add up to 7k/6secs = 1,16 k HPS
- which seems not bad at all (but maybe I am horribly wrong)

Tool Tips write about MELEE ATTACKS to proc the effect. It was confirmed to procs of white melee hits without internal cooldown. Does it proc from white AND Yellow? Is hitting the target not necessary for the effect to proc?

Edit: Saying it procs off ONLY WHITE attacks WITHOUT a need to HIT the target: Its twice 2,6 secs (without haste, obviously) not 1,5 secs (GCD) but 30 % chance to proc needing 3,33 attacks to heal 7k. 2,6*3,33 = 8,65 secs. 7k/8,65secs = 0,8 k HPS.

Hi. I just read what blizz is planning to change in balance spec in next expansion and im worried about our multi dotting abilites. It looks like in MoP we wont be able to stay in solar whole fight.

I'm thinking of giving Subtlety a go on Alysrazor...

I would use this custom spec:
Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft

- I have taken 3/3 Coup de Grace/Lethality and nothing in Puncturing Wounds. My reasoning being that with 24-25 stacks of the haste buff, I will be crit capped anyway.

- I have also maxed precision to minimize poison misses. I would max my mastery as the encounter provides the haste and crit I need. I have also taken enveloping shadows so that I can easily stay up in the air during Firestorm.

I think that this spec can possibly do a lot of damage per global cooldown, but I am worried about the non 24 stack phase damage with no puncturing wounds.

Glyphs are tricky... I feel like using the Backstab Glyph is poor synergy with the rest of my spec, but I will surely be energy starved without it on low haste, it'll still crit upward of 35% of the time even without it which isn't exactly nothing. Perhaps just stick to normal and replace Shadow Dance glyph with Hemorrhage.

Elusiveness + Prep taken to maximise Vanish/Find Weakness uptime.

What do you guys think?
