I will admit right off the bat that I didn't "read" every single post in this thread (23 pages is a LOT)... so please feel free to flame away if this has already been posted/discussed. The only thing I would ask, is that with the flame, is a post number or something so that I can re-find the info without having to re-read the ~600 posts to find my info
Anyway, some facts, and then my questions.
I am playing WoW on my 17" MacBook Pro, and I want to get an external control device so that I am not button-mashing my built-in keyboard to death. I have only been playing WoW for a month, so I am not really going to have to "relearn" anything (which is nice)... but I want to make sure that the devices I get are not only the best available, but fit my "needs".
I have heard a lot of good things about the Logitech G13, which is #1 on my current list of "must haves". Are there any Mac users out there using this device who have had significant issues with it? I don't fully understand all of the control aspects of the game yet (macros/custome scripts)... but I am sure that will change in time. I don't want to buy the G13, and then find out in a month or two that it doesn't do something correctly on my Mac.
For a mouse, I am currently using a VX Nano, but I am going to be changing that to a
Razer ProClick 1.6. This one is much less of a questionmark, because my brother-in-law has one that he has been using for a while. I like the fact that it has 5 programable buttons and what seems to be high-quality sensor.
I am still doing some research for a good set of headphones, but am leaning towards a few different Plantronics sets (
THESE) or
THIS set by TRITTON. Any and all comments on these headsets and others are welcomed and encouraged (lol).
