My dmg deffers too much in some boss fights. With me Gear I make only 27k dps on Ultraxion10 NHC
and on Deathwings Madness 42k.
Ultraxion was without demolock and without DI.
But my questions is regarding Simcraft. I ran Simcraft several times this morning and it is a bit confusing.
With the same gear it shows during 4.2. Haste bether than mastery and crit as the worst stat.
Now in 4.3. with the same gear it shows Haste>Crit>Mastery with a patchwork fight as well as during
a helter skelter fight, with a length of 500 and a vary length of 20%.
Could this be true without any big changes with the shadow mechanics und gear?
And with BiS nhc gear it simulates Mastery>Crit>Haste.
That was the first problem und now I have a second question. Do you suggest to take the T13 from the
LFR Tool instead of having the 4pc Bonus from T12 with 2 heroic and 2 non heroic items?
I've written an addon called Serious Help In Timing.
It's basically a re-write of Face Mauler, but for Ret Paladins. You can setup your own priority rotation in the options menu, as well as a minimum amount of mana to continue consecrating, and the display frame will simply tell you which ability to use, which is coming up next, and if your Avenging Wrath is off of cooldown. Please let me know if you find any bugs or have any suggestions.
Currently, the only known "bug" is that it will recommend Exorcism without checking to see if the mob is undead. I didn't plan on releasing this before 3.1, so it isn't coded in. With 3.1 on the near horizon, I have no plans of adding it either. If you plan on using this for a fight like Malygos or Sarth before 3.1, then just change the Exorcism priority to double up whichever is above or below it, or just ignore the Exorcism recommendation and use whichever ability it recommends on the follow-up icon.
More information and screenshots can be found on the download page:
Moderation Edit: Do not discuss anything that has to do with turning this mod into a "Spam this button to play Retribution" addon. If you do, regardless of whether you agree or disagree with the idea, you will get infracted.
I have a question, is combat still the best spec for rogue in 4.3 with the leggendary dagger ? shadowcraft says that SUB is 3k dps better for my gear, only swapping spec, and muti 2.5k better swapping gear+ reforge, i think shadowcraft doesn't count the +45% buff off fear otherwise i cleary doesn't understand what's going on.
I think BM needs some love again. I have to / wanted play BM and since our mages respecced to fire I'm the one who brings 3% (10 man). So, my interest in BM is everyday growing.
The first BM hard plateau is 3 Cobra Shots, 1 Arcane Shot and 1 Kill Command, in 6 seconds. This requires a Cobra Shot cast time of 1.333 seconds; 17.403% haste; 2,229 haste rating.
With the high haste already on the gear this tier, it is worth reforging out of crit to reach this plateau? Did already someone math for it and could provide / show the post for this?
Prior to 4.3 being released I had wondered the same thing; however, with 2 raid lockouts available (LFR+normal/heroic), our 2p bonus should be easily attainable within the first month*. With that in mind, could we math out an optimal rotation with the increased focus from T13 2p CS?
My question is - should I switch the 397 ilvl weapon into the main hand spot and put Zoids in offhand or will that make a difference in dps? My main concern would be that if i put my 397 weapon is mainhand spot my expertise would then be 23/26 vs 26/23 with Zoid's in mainhand. Please help and thanks in advance!
Best is relative, but right now Shadowcraft is unable to properly calculate DPS for the legendary daggers. Fixes to the daggers are incoming, along with bug fixes, new item data, etc. but we don't know when they will be implemented. For the meantime rest assured that Combat is still one of the best DPS specs in the game and you should use the daggers if you have them.
