Normal AoK was actually a pretty bad trinket and was getting out shined by heroic heart of rage and pretty much every other str based trinket from firelands. Vessel was also the second best trinket out of firelands and was only beat by the heroic version.
I used to play whole T12 and T13 up to Madness without TC. After seeing how the last encounter is designed I specced out of Ancestral Swiftness, enchanted boots with Lavawalker and took TC. Also reforged out of spirit where I could.
I also used Heartsong and Darkglow thingy on the cloak before, heavily relying on spirit regen and Resurgence from HW spam.
Clearing DS again this week (no heroics due to lineup issues though) and I'm loving changes I made. I've yet to run out of mana, encounters in DS are designed perfectly for it. Im still trying to treat TC as an additional source of mana, lost ~600mp5 through reforging, but its really hard to avoid using it effectively in current tier.
If you check my spec and gear I went full mastery and crit where possible, while keeping haste slightly above 967 rating. Without taking Concussion and EPrecision TC ends up as mana gain, even with a few misses here and there.
Point is, I tried TC ages ago and didnt really like it, most likely due to boss' design, so I tried to rely on spirit, which worked nicely for me. But I highly advise you to try TC again in DS - its truly awesome in there.
Not sure if I helped actually, but there you go.
I have no problem playing with TC, I'm just bound to find 2 sides to this coin - it definitely seems that the majority of shams right now are using TC with, reportedly, great benefit.
Currently my goal of not using TC is in regards to 25m norm and 25m HMs, if anyone can relate...
Sure, I can definitely find some short periods of downtime during an encounter to throw LBs here and there (and possibly benefit greatly depending on chance?), but, ultimately, is it worth it and/or is there an equal/better alternative spec/gearing/playstyle?
I'd get the T13 from RF. The set bonuses easily outweigh the higher ep on the items themselves.
In addition, if you're going to spend valor, it's probably better to get the bis items (neck, back, relic) first and/or harder to get items like the trinket. IMO.
ok so I have a mastery rating of 2500 and that only gives me
i did a little math and i need about 3500 more mastery to cap my block i was just wondering were/ how am i supposed to come up with that? more specifically should i exclusivly jem mastery ... i have all my gear reforged to mastery but i just seem to be so far from the 102.4 mark ....any help would be appreciated
I recently got my t13 2pc bonus and still have my t12 2 piece, my question is , what is the best way to use the 2pc bonus ? is it simply just SHRED spam after 60pecent health and 5pt FB everytime its up or do i FB at the time rip is about to run out to keep it going , which is the best dps increase since I am not able to practice this on a target dummy for obvious reasons .. its health never falls/// also > In regards to stat priority I can pretty much gather that reforging for kitties is pretty much a preference but I am going with RAWR and also with new gear loosing haste and gaining mastery and crit which will cause my matrix resabilizer to affect mastery now.. is this going to affect dps substantially?
I"m finally able to reach the 2589 haste for the extra tick on UA, but giving up a lot of crit to get there. With the movement in fights, are you guys finding better dps sitting at 1993 haste for the corruption extra tick and stopping haste.and stacking pure crit past that? Or should i go with the 2589 haste? I'm having trouble figuring it out with the mechanics involved?
anyone got really tested the kiril?
i know fd can't really simulating that proc actually and it can be really nice more than you think
if you use it with unchain trinket the total agi and ap will be really big
I would guess it's due to the tier bonus, "Your Feral Spirits have a 45% chance to grant you a charge of Maelstrom Weapon each time they deal damage." When the wolves are active, you would want to minimize the time when you have a full five-stack of MW but have not yet used them.
I got your point.Surely i know about the T13 4pcs bonus. But i still want to know why we should cast LB at MW4 not MW3 or something else?I mean, how this priority change benefit our DPS?There shall be some SIM before we DO something to our prioriy ,right?
Hello guys,i have a huge problem.I have a friend of mine who is playing also a warlock demo, and we went in a LFR and he pulled out like 40k dps and I managed only 25-26K,and i don't really know what's the problem. The rotation I took it from you guys, and my burst at the boss in moonweel chalice + DS + meta + doomguard it's only 30k dps and I don't really know why.If someone can check me out on armory and see if I reforged something wrong or need adjusted please feel free to spam me.
At start, my eng isn't perfect :P
I want some discussion about that topics:
1. Anyone noticed unusefull Ancestral Swiftness talent in DS? Anyone else want dropped it? i think talents for dmg reduction/healing taken should work better increasing ur surv and healers mana. I didn't read/see any hc fights, atm 8/8 norm 10 man
Morchok, warlord, hagara, warmaster - just u need stand/move properly
spine, madness and ultraxion - completly unusefull
yor'sahj - u should drop one or maybe two casts on ooze, but still using UL glyph should give u more dps and work better
At all fights i assume we using UL glyph or our moveable cd's like unleash elements or spiriwalker.
2. For madness fight, u prefer more mastery than haste?
3. BiS trinkets? Except any form of will of unbinding(undisputed BiS). I think this should be Cunning of the Cruel, are u agree with me?

In my opinion FS is good at all fights, rest depends on the type of fight or gear. LvB should be better than LB if u have 4set t12, FE i think can be good for all yours 7-8min fights (if u have 2set t12 can be nice at all fights), UE - required at all fights when u need move much times, example: warmaster.
I am user of 4set t12 and persoanlly preffer LvB, FS and UE at most fights(sometimes replaced by LB)
I'm really starting to feel underpowered by not having Dragonwrath, and I wondered how much better it is than the weapons that are available in Dragon Soul, and if I'm ever going to be able to get close to top ranks on WoL without it?
