Ok, thanks. That makes sense. On normal the adds don't normally last that long.

Thanks for this thread, it will certainly help a great deal.

You should use the shadowcraft tool to model it, I beleive it states clearly this site is not to be used for advice on gear upgrades.

Proc Scenario: Response
1) Heavy raid damage (very rare): Ideal situation, spam HR and DL as needed.
2) Moderate raid damage: Spam HL to maintain HPS at a lower mana cost.
3) Light/no raid damage: Melee for mana, only casting HS when it's up for HP, 2 set t12, conviction, and to maintain DMC:tsunami.

In essence, I'm attempting to use the haste proc as a mana regen/conservation phase instead of throughput, simply because it seldom procs during heavy incoming damage. Until (normal/LFR) [Heart of Unliving] drops, is this ideal? Or is it more beneficial to take a small intellect drop and use Jaws or t11 Int-spirit proc trinkets?
Yea that's why I didn't like [Seal of the Seven Signs] too much because i couldn't control when I wanted to use the haste. But you have the right idea for the scenarios above. But don't not cast to prevent a proc when you don't want it. It will just cause your healing numbers to suffer even more than they will already. The best setup for me currently is [Jaws of Defeat] and [Heart of Unliving]. On Ultraxion if you get the blue buff which the Holy Paladin should, you will never run out of mana with the combination of those two trinkets. You actually gain mana LoL.

Hello,

I recently checked the three different trinkets available in Dragon Soul, and I can't find a way to choose both BiS trinkets for this tier. The spreadsheet is great, but I haven't enough time to try different combinations with different trinkets and different levels of stuff.

I suppose that the Eye of Unmaking is kinda cool and has a great DPS output, but I can't seem to find any testing about the Bone-Link Fetish (especially for rets) and the difference of DPS with the last trinket, the Creche of the Final Dragon.

(Btw, first time I post something here, sorry if I am not totally understandable ; I'm french. And gratz for all of your work guys, it's great.)

As far as I know, this usually isn't a place to talk about what items are BiS, but some of the reason behind our BiS trinkets conceptually based, so I don't think it's a problem to talk about it.

Eye of Unmaking is amazing. Tons of raw strength, stacks quickly, it's the clear winner. It's a full tier better than any other options.

Bone Link Fetish is generally considered our 2nd best option, if for no other reason than Creche and the VP trinket are both bad. Creche is simply not very good for a Ret pally. Due to its internal cooldown timing, it is very unlikely to line up with our cooldowns. For the same reason, the VP trinket is a bad choice. We do roughly double damage during cooldowns, so anything active during that period is extra effective.

AoK is still an option that shouldn't be ignored. Its burst is unparalleled. However, it can be difficult to stack initially, delaying your first set of cooldowns. Using it or not is likely a personal choice.

Purge mentioned to me that 65 Crit to cloak should now or soon (and in BiS gear) outweigh 22 Agi to cloak. I double checked ep values on enhsim and dps scale factors on simcraft and came to the same conclusion. Can anyone else confirm?

Alonquinus it's definitely competitive. Unholy also provides a whole lot of raid utility with AMZ.

Okay, but at the level of actual statistics, str, haste and crit is really superior? why?
With the same items I've lost dps switching to profane. I do not understand, as the unholy is much easier to play than frost. I've always been unholy and I never had problems with dps ...
Can anyone help me? I am very disappointed with the unholy at the moment ...

Maybe I should learn and perfect the mechanics of the bosses. What should I know every boss to get the maximum DPS possible?
You could get a better explanation of the rotation for unholy? So remember old times, for a long time playing with the unholy
