so the survival section seems slow, so im gonna add some of my input on various things that popped up for 4.3

With the 2pc, i find haste a lot less useful. i figure more focus = less cobra = more arcane. more mastery would increase damage on both, haste would mean more cobras, which we will need less of due to the 2pc. basically it seems logical to prefer mastery over haste, with crit still being the best after hit cap. unfortunately for my gear i cannot reforge to lower hastes due to all the haste on gear.

hunter BiS that should be bought right away will be the necklace and ring from valor. wrist and belt drop in raid, you will use the valor ring until MoP, and unless you killed heroic rag, you will use the valor necklace until MoP. The BiS cloak is FL heroic from rhyolith, mainly due to the extra socket compared to the valor cloak. i havent tested, but im pretty sure the stacking agility trinket and the agility trinket with the physical damage proc will be the BiS.

now spec discussion: with a lot of add fights being introduced in heroic modes, i feel that taking 1 out of sic em and adding 1 back into careful aim will be beneficial. with the increase crit rates you will proc sic em more than last tier, and with just 1 in careful aim with increased crit rates, you should come closer to 100% crit without having to devote 2 talent points into it.

since your pet wont get as much focus as normal, 1 in shark attack and 1 in wild hunt looks to be beneficial with the suggested build. i ran this for madness (since it has a lot of adds) and managed 53k on 10 man.
(im angry our GM did not record logs, so very angry, and sad) imma run some different builds/pet builds with this to find some more results.

also i would like to see more activity for SV, lets start running those simulators more often, ill contribute more myself as well.

I believe it still incorrectly has the 60 sec CD.

Hi guys, i have 4st bonnus t13, and i have been traying proc of the bonnus. 6% colossus smash, after 5m dps on dummy i get just 4x times this proc. And if i use own Colossus s. i stack sunder armor, but if i get proc from 4th set bonus the stack dont refresh, and sometimes happened, that the stacks sunders on dummy can drop, cos when the 4th bonus is active is worst use own Colossus s. My question is, its rly better get 4th set bonnus, or no. I am SMF fury.

This is my Hunter Bawzdawg and I want to ask u guys is it possible to do more than 22-23k DPS w/o cooldowns during a static fight like ultraxion or patchwork with my current gear / talent setup?

I cant crack it, well i start with using RF/CotW spamming AI`s n keep Imp. SS up, after RF runs out readyness and repeat (if boss is under 90% i add SerpentSting and keep it refreshed via CS.
Then switching to normal Prio keeping Imp SS up refreshing Serpentsting (CS, focus dump (2-3AS or AI Proc + 1-2 AS) capping focus, CS is off cd then repeat)

Im just curious if i should be above 22-23k consatnt dps, well with CD´s + BL im at 35-37k dps raidbuffed, well when theres a frostknight the 10% haste make me go crazy it pushes but those numbers postet above are w/o a Frost DK in grp.

Hello there - long time lurker, first time poster.

I searched for the answer to this question, but either it hasn't been asked, or I'm just not that good at searching.

I'm at the first stage of the legendary daggers, but got my hands on (normal) Blade of the Unmaker.

Basically I'm wondering what the EP for mainhand dagger dps is for subtlety - would it be to my advantage to use Blade of the Unmaker over Fear until I get the next set?

i.e. is the extra dps/top end damage worth losing the Suffering bonus and socket?

i am average at best most of the time , me dpsing. I have 2 Gurthalak and the tentecal is about 7-14% of my total dps. Ranked on 3bosses i think. There are probably some fights where arms is better but same counts for fury. i guess in total it balances a bit in the direction of arms atm but doubt it is major. So unless arms scales better and you wanne max on dps eveytime and dont have tank as off spec i guess you would be swithcing between them.

I havent really tested out arms in 4.3 neither do i have any set pieces from tier 13. I am heroic/normal firelands mostly but weapons and one trincket are from dargon soul. I can compete in some form with the casters atm alltought that is all to thanks to the new extra friendly melee might buff , it is ridiculs how much that boost your dps :P
