I know that the legendary staff will be BiS, but just considering to the given loot of DS: What would be BiS?

yeah! i have the same question..
cause i didnt play enough Firelands to get my legendary staff and now i need another BiS, what you guys say about those 3 weapons? first i got Lightning Rod from Hagara, and 2 days ago i first killed Madness of Deathwing on 10man and both weapons droped (lol).. i was the only caster and got both (lol2). Now i have all 3 weapons and dont know what i do =)

Hello all, my guild has recently managed to kill Yor'sahj Heroic and because of it I've started to wonder.
Having the opportunity to get the Experimental Specimen Slicer HC is obviously great, but how does it compare to Gurthalak normal, does the raw weapon damage outperform the tentacle proc or is Gurthalak still my best option?

Appreciate any input on this matter.

I got the 390 Grathalak last week and and a 397 Experiment Slicer last night. The rule of thumb would have the 397 axe go in my MH and OH the Sword, yet the proc is requiring it to go MH. That's going to save me a bit a time, so thank.

Second question. I am running mastery at 10% cap levels. Current gear is allowing me to get 40/50/60% mastery. I do capping because of Enrage and have noticed an increase in damage in low end normal hits and my crits. Im not a great simulator and play around in game, can anyone run this mastery cap level and see what step is the most benefitcial.

Looking at those fights I'll just make a few basic notes without going in to a lot of detail. On Morchok, stay in for a black blood phase and bubble, pop DP when bubble wears off, you'll be fine and it helps. Other than that feel free to judge and exo a few times when you do have to run. Ultraxion you had a somewhat low inquisition uptime but it's possible for ultraxion logs to get screwy with the phasing. I didn't really tear these logs down since they are older, you could have had a lot less gear, maybe you weren't far from your sim back then and so on. Feel free to update your SimC, try a new sim, and go through another week and see how your performance turns out in comparison.

Hey man thanks for the reply i didn't notice that fights were missing from the logs i guess the person running them didn't have it running and i'll update simulationcraft I'll probably have to wait at least one week due to the holidays and we won't be raiding next week I'll post again once i have complete logs and see how i fair in two weeks.

Has anyone done the numbers for the ideal CA phase with Survival in the same way Whitefyst has with MM? My initial thought was that there would be fewer Arcane's, but my napkin math suggests that , while it's close, Arcane @ 43%crit still beats Cobra @ 100% crit in terms of raw dps. Obviously, there are focus issues to consider as well.

For subtlety, my rogue has access to either T12 2P (378) or T13 2P (391). I am guessing the T13 wins out in this case, but can't find the exact EP calculations.

You need to factor in as well, that unless those changes are going to be greater than a 500dps increase, RNG comes into play and wont necessarily be an increase.

I can confirm that ES-ES-AS-ES works without clipping if you wait <0.5s.
I have a 4 ms latency and for me it seems to be enough to not queue it and just press it when i see my global timer finish.

Does anyone know if it's viable to skip finishers until reach Deep Insight on burst Phases such as Alysrazor's, tendons from Spine, Hagara (not sure this one since it's a smaller time), Zon'ozz or any other encounter I might have forgotten?

You are right. The rng is Not an reason not to Take the sword. I recognized that I m Sometimes Lucky that it Procs twice. I have to Check Logs but it definitlY makes 4% and more of our damage, and it worths.
