The [Wrath of Unchaining] (LFR) is rated noticeable bad in ShadowCraft - other trinkets have nearly the same EP values compared to the combat guide thread trinket EP values.
I posted a bug about this with Aldriana about a week and a half ago. His/Her response was that it has been updated in a version that hasn't been pushed to the site yet. (Edit to add: This has something to do with how the procs on the trinket are calculated according to Aldriana's response.) I checked github and noticed that the version mentioned isn't checked in there yet. I'm assuming this is a version that is likely local rather than published.
It seems no changes have been pushed/pulled since early December (Dec 8th, to be exact). I'd say give Aldriana time to deal with holiday stuff before declaring anything on the site gospel.
I was wondering at what level of Crit, hit became better, went full Hit > Crit, thinking that was the way to go then Simmed it, but it still shows as Crit being somewhat better, pretty much the stat weights came out with 2.9 for Crit and 2.5 for Hit.
Can someone clarify couple of things. Compared to caster we dont have haste/crit cap, but how does the scaling look like - or putting it in other words what would be (with current gear) optimal stats sub rogue should look for?
40% cirt (UB) - worth going more? basically we got 100% crit on ambush and +/- 80-85% crit on BS
20-25% haste (UB) - worth going more than that? Or is it time to get a bit more into hit since after BS dmg most our dmg comes from melee attacks.
LAst thing you ever use cp while dance or just pure ambush spam?
I think that all of this questions have been already answered in this topic but Haste > crit~expertise (expertise provide cycle stability). According to Pathal's math, crit only devaluate by 2% after 40% crit chance so going crit is still worth it. To finish, there is no haste cap and yes while ShD you spend all your cp to whatever finisher is your actual priority : refresh rupture (which was putted with MoS and eventually with pots) with evi > SnD > recup.
Its more if there is a cross over point, there has gotta be a value where Crit loses its value to hit, with reforging these days it would be great to work out the exact %, since you could get it bang on and go for hit.
Also how are people using the 2pc T13? I have macro'd it into CS thinking well this is where I'm rage dumping most of the time it seems the best place to use it, but still it does feel quite right.
Went over the topic once more, found some info but still lack of info on haste. Especially haste vs X% of crit, haste vs. x% of hit (taking into consideration melee attacks are just a bit behind BS dmg).
Wouldn't mind simply copy stats/gear etc of some high end rogue but 99% of the are combat.
eidt: or let me put it this way - say we got UB 42% crit, 20% haste 10% hit, 18/18 exp. With additional items we will obtain additional 3% crit. But I feel like if we could convert those 3% crit into either haste or hit, it would benefit our dps more. The question is, which would benefit more hit or haste?
That's actually answered in the OP. The stat weight of Haste is far higher than that of White Hit and considerably higher than Spell Hit. Moving as much of that into Haste will always be your best bet since Haste will benefit you in more areas by increasing both white and yellow dmg as well as further rotation stability.
Sorry if this has been asked before. I was lucky enough to see the glove token drop tonight, taking me to t13 4-set (but breaking my t12 2-set in equipping it.) Shadowcraft is showing ~800 dps drop if I use the 4-set, is this correct / expected, since it sounds rather a lot?
Im a new raider, just wondering what the hit cap is for combat rogue. I have 0.0% miss chance for my special attacks but my normal attacks has like a 4% miss chance. I have already reforged all my gear to hit and am sitting at 20.00% hit. Do i have enough?
