Hi,

does the Doomguard takes a snapshot of the 4p-T13-Bonus or do I not have to time the Bonus with the Doomguard?
(because it scales actively or not at all)

I think the bold part is your problem. Install an ignite monitoring add-on like combustion helper and use combustion when you get a big ignite, a stacking one if you can.

For stacking ignite you have to critically hit with a second crit before first ignite tick, eg. a critical fireball followed by a critical instant pyro.

Optimal use of combustion is a consistent part of fire dps.

Don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but [Kiroptyric Sigil] is rated below [Hungerer](Heroic) in EP, but on shadowcraft kirpotyric sigil is rated way above the hungerer, should I trust EP values or shadowcraft? Also worth mentioning that I do have engineering, which is affected by having a use trinket.

Hi guys.

Sorry for my stupidity but I have some tankquestions because I'm confused. :/
I normaly play DD but atm we miss a tank in our 25mann raid. So I to do this job for a while.

I read many posts and made this build but I am still confused with some facts.
This is my BIS-List.

Before you start with crying:
Yeah, I picked 2 Agiitems for more mastery. I am over the CTCcap so the missing strength(parry) wont hurt and I do not have any aggroproblems.
I am over the CTC-Cap, so I reforged my dodge into parry for more HtL-Uptime.

Could you help me with some of my questions plz?

1. Is there a minimum for Raidbuffed HP as warritank? or are 225+ enough for 25er HCraids?
(best example is madness: 25er NHC i need around 180k hp unbuffed, what for 25er HC?)

2. Is the critblockcap really at 85%?
(I´ve read some posts about that topic and wanted to know the truth: true or false

)

3. When, yes, is it better to stop with 60%block and max. the avoid up to 42,4% for CTC and then stack stamina?
Or is it better to stack mastery for more critblocks (like I did)? Yeah, I know that there are many different views, but some advice would be nice.

Please help a stupid DD who has to tank.

Well, i am not really good with theorycraft, but my gut feeling never let me down. I believe that Gurthalak definitely does its best during heavy aoe fights like Yor'sadhj and will outperform the slicer.

So my question is which trinkets are BiS now ?

I'm not entirely sure about that as yet. Yes logic leads to tons of attacks meaning more procs but I have yet to see blasting aoe actually result in a few extra tentacles rolling around. Next week on Yor'sahj I'm actually going to try switching to the axe for extra stats on said AoE. See what's what.

SETUP 1: Matrix Restabilizer(ilvl 384) and Kyroptyric Sigil(ilvl 397 on use proc)

or

Setup 2: Ancient Petrified Seed(ilvl 387 on use proc) and Kyroptyric Sigil(^) two on use trinkets

Im having a hard time to figure out what would be better.

I am pretty sure that your first one will come out tops but you really need to sim it to be sure as it depends on your gear to a certain extent.

Can anyone help me to understand the latest PTR changes to fire (the nerfs)? Ie. what dps reduction this equates to and if it would ever finally be a viable alternative to go arcane on certain DS encounters such as h:ultraxion. I'm tired of this rng/luck-based damage because I am always extremely unlucky.
