We were finding that any direct damage to Goriona puts the entire raid into combat early, making the combat start timer unreliable. A large number of people would end up ruining their ability to pot later in the fight because they were being placed in combat a moment too soon. Warlocks casting Bane seemed to be the only thing we could do to her that would not put the whole raid into combat early.

Perhaps there is some aspect to this we were missing? You are debuffing/dotting her as she flies over the bow of the ship, correct? And the rest of the raid isn't being put into combat prematurely?

1st I apologise if this post is in the wrong place
im rly desperate atm
iv hit a wall in regards to my DPS
im a balance druid with T13 items
Rambling @ Kilrogg - Game - World of Warcraft
atm I can’t make more the 25k DPS (in DS) im rly struggling
I know iv done better with T12 items I used to make 40k+ but I don’t know what’s gone wrong
Iv used RAWR to max reforged an follow it with gem as I can afford them
But its not helping at all
I just hope someone will take pity on me and help out
Im sure its something im doing wrong with my rotation …but iv not rly changed that from T12 ..so any help at all

So far as I could tell, nobody was being put in combat early. What happens is you enter combat when hitting Goriona, then will drop combat when she flies out of range (along with everyone else) for about 3-4 seconds, then reenter combat when the drakes get in range and they are hit.

Would be nice if you made a guide Lamperouge cause you obviously get something i don't. Can't really figure out to do or what to prioritise when playing Masterfrost, i'm geared for it, just can't figure it out.

First of all, sorry if this has been asked but I couldn't find anything about this.

When using No'Kaled as your MH and the Stage 1 OH and using Hemo as your main CP builder, does Combat actually pass Subtlety in dps? Shadowcraft shows that Combat is ~2000 dps higher.

Do I have enough Mastery? Or too little? Also, do I have too much hit chance? Should I trim the fat a little?

There is no need for "enough" mastery because it is the weakest stat currently. There is no such thing as too much hit rating until you hit the hard cap, which is next to impossible in this tier without stacking gems for it.

Quick gear question: Im pretty sure Signet of Grasping Mouths will be BiS, but im unsure if Emergency Decent Loop or Viridian Signet of the Avengers would be in the second slot since viridian has a red socket bonus and emergency has yellow... I know they're really close, just wondering what EJ has to say about it. Thanks!

edit.. Plz note im assuming Seal of Primordial Shadow is out based on expertise...

Hello. I am quite new to elite jerks, therefore not sure if this issue has been posted or not. I do believe i am not performing in a way i should perform, regarding dps, healing and in general tanking at the moment. I would appreciate if someone could just give me a general guidance on what i should cast more as a tank. I want to improve, therefore the post. Please find attached world of logs - World of Logs - Real Time Raid Analysis

This is what i am currently doing:
- My first choice is staying alive during the fight - So if i fall below 50% health ill use WOG (with 3hp).
- I use Shield of the Righteous when scared duty procs.
- If scared duty does not proc I use Inquisition for more dps.

Should I cast more WOG's or should i just focus more on the dps part really. This is just a general question if I am performing were I should perform or can I increase somewhere really? Almost the entire guild has been logged on world of logs - were as I haven't even gotten one. Could someone assist in my evaluation?

I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this question, so please feel free to redirect me if needed. I’m posting it here because I want the hunters’ perspective. I also asked the question in a feral druid forum.

I am curious about whether guilds or raid teams give priority to feral (cat) druids over hunters for the bis agility polearm (i.e., Kiril, Fury of Beasts). It's my understanding that the polearm makes a much bigger difference to feral dps than to hunter dps because most feral abilities are directly influenced by the power of our Melee Weapon , whereas hunters just benefit from the regular stats or procs on the item (which clearly are quite nice, in this case, for both hunters and ferals). I'm guessing that hunter dps is modified by the damage on the ranged weapon (i.e., bow) instead, making the bow their most important weapon. Is this reasoning correct? Does anyone know the math involved or exactly how big the difference the upgrade is for druids vs. hunters?

The bottom line being, if you’re a hunter and you have a feral druid on your raid team, would you pass on the polearm for the feral druid?
