I personally have found the "checklist" to be a viable way to avoid nightmares in certain situations. But it is totally reliant that everyone is honest , I have had people(usually pugged raid members ) say they know the fights and yet they don't show any signs of having done them before ,I'll use the Heigan the unclean fight as an example I always use the 4 quarter strat, and there is always someone that runs all the way to the other side and then wonders why they're eating floor.I have also seen that after explaining the strats to the new people that it can take 2 to 3 repetitions to get my point across.Perhaps its my way of explaining but I try to keep it as simple as possible , nobody wants to hear someone talking for 20 minutes before each boss encounter. So I attempt to cram as much information on the encounter as I can into a 5 minute explanation and I have had mixed results ( witch I feel is due to people losing interest in the strategy and wanting to run in blindly and just sword and board the boss to death with no clue what to be on the lookout for( we all know this never goes well for most encounters )
I currently raid on the malygos server and perhaps its the quality of raiders I am finding or I need to revamp my approach to preparing the raid for each encounter.So in short I guess you cant teach old raiders new tricks , and when dealing with new raiders be patient and pray they have a decent attention span .

I am full pve but when i played arenas with mi DK, i was in a 2v2 team with a holy pala and it was so easy except vs pala holy and pala retry, or pala retry and priest.

This is cause a paladin can make a fear to our pets inmediatly or just kill it in 4 seconds so we dont have stun, also if they are 2 palas they have 2 divine shields and if they are pala retry-priest disci, the pala just go to kill mi mate, they stun me, fear me.... and then the priest dispells his divine shield and mi mate dies.

Any idea how to win that in 2v2? mi mate try to take me out of fears and stuns but we only win few times when i go to the priest and mi mate use fredom on me, pet stun-silence, and priest must die.

The instructions on how to use simcraft aren't rocket science. Anyone who can't run the tests for themselves simply have not tried.

In terms of which presence to use, I almost always go with Unholy - unless being faced with classes with very high survivability. The 15% speed boost is essential for catching up to a kiting class, and the -1sec to my GCD ensures that I have far greater burst damage than nearly every other class with the number of instant strikes we have, at least in the terms of several seconds.
Classes with higher survivability tend to eat my damage and I find myself waiting several seconds for my runes to be back up.

Rune of the Fallen Crusader - Whats the CD on it to proc again ?

Duel wielding 2 weapons with Rune of the Fallen Crusader, is it worth it ? or is it just pointless.

If I have Rune of the Fallen Crusader on one hand and Enchant Weapon - Crusader can both proc at same time ? Do they effect eachothers CD in some way ?

Hello all. I'm new to this forum and so far loving it, I've learned allot from this tread alone it's helped to make my pally freakin' sweet. I have a level 70 Ret/Holy Pally and I'm getting to the point of worrying about what to get for my end game PvP gear. This is my first pally, and so far I'm having a blast with him, even made him my main over my level 75 DK. But I still have allot to learn.

I'm thinking of getting PvE gear also, but not as worried about it as much I am PvP stuff or should I? Problem is I'm not exactly sure what to go with. Can any of you please give me an idea of what I should be looking for?

I've searched the web for anything on this and most everything I've found is out of date about old patches' gear, not even updated to WotLK, or just listings of some gear sets and their stats, which I still can't tell much about.

I wanna know whats best for a DPS pally at the moment with the current patch, be it an armor set or a mix of different stuff. Weapon, boots, and all, and if somehow I can squeeze in any amount of healing bonus without taking away from any of my possible DPS, that would be great too. I would of researched this and asked around more sooner, but I've just been focusing on leveling and doing some Battleground runs here and there.

Oh that reminds me, is any of the gear earned threw honor points from Battlegrounds or Arena currently worth it? I don't see many players on my server using or wearing that stuff, so I'm not sure if it's because of the time you have to put into getting that stuff or it's just not worth it.

And one last thing. These new Ret T8 pally sets coming soon, are they going to be worth my time or is the current stuff just as good or better?
