Should probably be in Sarth thread, but our caster nightfall setup runs with 3 healers and after drakes are down we let 1 holy pally go in the portal for 5 seconds, then dps goes in and kills them without fear of aggro. Holy pala can keep himself up easy enough there.

I would of researched this and asked around more sooner, but I've just been focusing on leveling and doing some Battleground runs here and there.

Oh that reminds me, is any of the gear earned threw honor points from Battlegrounds or Arena currently worth it? I don't see many players on my server using or wearing that stuff, so I'm not sure if it's because of the time you have to put into getting that stuff or it's just not worth it.

And one last thing. These new Ret T8 pally sets coming soon, are they going to be worth my time or is the current stuff just as good or better?

Well, that's it I think. Hope I'm not asking about too much stuff at once. >_< Please answer for me as much as you can and I'll be looking forward to your reply's. Appreciate the help.

i dont think misery ever efected FFF m8 its IFF+FFF where the problem lies?

Imho you are the one that is mistaken, bn3.

Misery grants +3% Hit for all attackers, which is the same buff that iFF does.
Somehow the game doesn't let you refresh FFF, if a +3% Hit buff is already active

Yes they can proc at the same time but dual Fallen Crusader is better once you get it at lvl 70. Dual wielding is however only competive as frost/unholy or unholy/frost therefore most dw dks use razorice or cinderglacier on the offhand i believe. check out the DW thread for more details

posibly i responded to fast friend i was searching back to previous post after i posted that to make sure ,,it just seamd i only ever had problems overwriting IFF but maybe im not paying enough atention to it

This build died when SD has been capped at 30 rage and proc has been based on crit. Second thing is there are no good axes (ok last laugh but its tanking weapon)

First of all Duncan, very nice setup you have there and the Memory usage is impressive.
Last night i tryed to use your UI, but i couldnt configure most of the addons.
Isnt there any way to configure the addons?

- Ouf_Asym is very nice, but i would like to move some frames and maybe disable the portrait.
- How to disable the casting bar on the player portrait?

I dont understand much about .lua edits, etc.
If u can help me i would be very glad.

Frost needs a new spell. Thats all there is to it. Replenishment is not the answer, even if it were working properly. We need a high damage PvE oriented spell that both increases our damage and gives us SOME sort of 'rotation' other than Frostbolt spam. Not to wishlist, but:

New Frost PvE Spell: Your Frostbolt Crits grant you the 'debuff application buff' which lasts 5 seconds. This buff allows you to stack the 'New Frost PvE Spell' debuff to your target, which does x damage over y seconds, which stacks up to 5 times. If the target becomes rooted, the debuff falls off.

So the boss encounter starts. Your first Frostbolt Crits and you gain this buff. This allows the use of the new spell which applies the DoT debuff. Once you have Crit 5 times you will have applied to Debuff 5 times. The buff we gain that allows use of the DoT should be very short duration and the Dot duration should be refreshed each time it is applied. The dot should be removed if the target becomes rooted so that its essentially a raid spell only (not unreasonable considering Deep Freeze is 100% useless against bosses). Tune damage to be a large DPS increase in PvE, and removing the debuff once a target is rooted prevents its extensive use in PvP.

Edit: Its damage could also be tied in some way to Winters Chill to prevent stacking the debuff on an off target while gaining the buff charges on a main target (spam frostbolt on the warrior while stacking the DoT on his healer).

I am a tank, but I have been playing around with a cat spec on the PTR. I have not used cat for anything but leveling since BT was considered serious, so that should give you an idea of how rusty I am with it. Although I have no WWS, I was able to consistantly hit 3600-3800 dps on a boss target dummy with glyph of Rip/Shred/SR. This was over a 10 minute period that I did a total of three times. My bleeds had uptimes from 78-85%, which I mainly attribute to horrible play. Obviously more experience is the fix for this. I have not tested the Mangle glyph yet, but I plan to tonight. I am going to record a WWS for this to add for comparison.

I use Needtoknow set to track Mangle, Rip, Rake, FFF, Savage Roar, and OOC on one bar group, and Trinket procs/misc on another to help manage uptimes/procs. I literally do not think I could play cat right now without it, definitely I would need to get a lot more comfortable with managing uptimes first.

I am in no means using best in slot gear for this, most of my cat gear is mostly naxx10 stuff I upgraded from, with a Journeys End thrown in. My guild just recent reformed, we are a bunch of old eq friends who were hit by nostalgia, so I have just recently been able to roll on offspec loot.

Enchants/gems are for agility on the ptr. I have JC/LW so those fit in. I know my hit is low, I was mainly getting a feel for cat again over min/maxing at this point. I think I sit at 7118 ap in cat form +motw.

Thanks a lot for the feedback, I have updated it with the new numbers. now its even easier, DTPS needed down with about 300

The reason for the low mana pool was that I forgot MotW

If I could get on the PTR and try it out I probably wouldn't be posting here bothering you people with my ramblings :P But as it stands they mirrored the PTR accounts when my account was still hacked so I don't know the password, and thats one of the things they can't do anything about ;(

Is there any data on the other deeps classes that would help us determine where we will stand on the meters in 3.1?
