Nothing shado pan revered trinket, and Mogushan vaults trash trinket.

hey, as an assassination rogue with engineering, how should we line up Flashing Steel Talisman - Item - World of Warcraft and Synapse Springs - Spell - World of Warcraft ?
So far i have put my trinket on my ambush so that i pop that on start, then the synapse string will be used on my first envenom(ca.). After that, I am unsure of how to best line these two up.

*edit*: just in case i also posted this on the assassination sub forum in case this question is too 'heavy'

It's possible that Monny wasn't aware that the sig shots apply HM with the glyph but I'm assuming that he does know that and is asking a slightly different question. The question I believe he's asking is whether or not HM is applied before or after the shot hits. If HM is applied before the shot hits then using AS doesn't serve any purpose other than to delay CS (in his example) b/c using CS would apply HM and then apply the shot damage. If, on the other hand, HM is either not consistently placed on the target before the damage is applied or it is applied after the damage is applied it might make sense to use AS first in order to ensure that HM is on the target before the sig shot is used.

Unless I am missing something, I can't imagine a scenario where refreshing with 5 seconds left would be worth more than the 3-4 casts under the buff you're giving up to refresh early.

Unless there is a scenario where losing that damage boost to your current dots is worth more than 3-4 casts, you would never want to rebuff it early. I'm not even certain how the buff affects those current dots, does dot damage, including combustion, actively change based on procs and such or are they determined at application time?

Hello, Just curious with the trinket list like when i mouse over darkmist vortex (normal) it says it gives 5079 haste in EJ but in game it says 6908 haste through the dungeon journal.

and the heroic one on EJ says 5079 haste and dungeon journal says 7796 haste.

Are these trinkets based on what these mouse overs say or has there value from in game been taken into account already on this ranking list.

was just wondering as i was considering building relic of xuen if it really was BiS but if these other trinkets overtake it i might not.

I think he is asking for another reason and I always wondered the same:
Say you have enough focus for AS and signature shot, is it worth it to delay the signature shot by 1 GCD to apply HM with AS via the glyph to get increased damage on the signature ability right away?
Or is the HM applied and taken into account when you simply use the signature ability anyways? (like hit CS button, HM gets applied, HM improved CS hits target)

I just want to thank all on the information given, and throw out a special thanks to Earen and Hamlet for the guide. Also, to throw out a total agreement with the comments on spirit. I think the "Why more spirit isn't the answer to your healing problems." post is absolutely accurate and to the point... I've been playing since vanilla, healing and tanking primarialy, and seen in every expansion the "Oh no, not enough spirit" comes out. If only people would take the time to re-evaluate their healing styles at each expansion and see that its not the gear that needs to change but the playstyle, then people would complain less and there would be less drastic reactions by Blizzard to the QQ players...

Hi guys! I would like you to focus your attention on [Scroll of Revered Ancestors]. It says it gives 2822 spirit on use, but actually wowhead is bugged: in game it says it gives 3595.

I am a human, with a 489 1h axe [Elegion, the Fanged Crescent] and 463 1h sword [Amber Espada of Klaxxi'vess].
I have two questions regarding DW:

1) Which weapon should go on the mainhand and which on the offhand? My instincts tell me the stronger weapon goes to Mainhand, but the main post's explanation regarding Runeforging suggests the opposite. Also, expertise now translates to spell-hit, and the human racial bonus is given only if the sword is on mainhand.

2) As a human, I get a 1% expertise bonus only to my sword, and not the axe. I would expect this to change my expertise stat weights - probably a sort of softest-cap at 6.5%, and then the usual 7.5% soft cap. What stat weights should I be using for this?

First off i got an infraction for my bad grammar in the first post. Grammar have never been a strong side of mine so i will try and do my best here, so i wont get another one. Sorry ><

About the !Pyro+HU, i simply wanted to point out that you should be doing FB-->!Pyro instead of just !Pyro, when under those conditions, because of the way the 0.5 sec delay on HU cancel works. If you just do !pyro you lose out on a potential follow up !Pyro.
Assume we have 30% crit.
If you just do !pyro there is a 30% chance you will get another !Pyro, if you do Fb->!pyro you have 2x30%(not 60%) chance of !pyro, no matter witch one of them crit. This is assuming IB is on CD, as you just used it to proc the first !Pyro.

About my IB comments they were aimed at the PoM-pyro AT chain comment:
