Assassination questions and this is my first post so please don't murder me.

These are the assumptions I am currently working under. Please tell me if they are incorrect.

Anticipation for level 90 talent.

Store to 90 energy on all Envenoms.

If Dispatch procs while Envenom is debuff is up, use Dispatch. If Dispatch procs while Envenom debuff is down, wait until the next Envenom to use it, if you will not use mutilate again before your next Envenom.

Use Envenom at 4+CP. If Dispatch procs at 4CP use Dispatch to get to 5CP (this would override the previous assumption about using Dispatch before Envenom).

Use Mutilate if you can't burn enough energy before the previous Envenom expires.

Are these assumptions sound? I have found several contradictory statements about pooling, mutilate usage and what to do during Envenom debuffs.

So this would basically be the 2H priority except one would cast HB with Death/Frost runes instead of waiting for another rune to come off CD and allow Obliterate? Did you check scale factors for this priority? Does it still favor mastery over haste?

With Anticipation, the 4+ CP rule pretty much goes away. Just Mutilate again, you'll get your extra CP or two back after your Envenom.

I'm not sure if this is where to ask this but I am wondering at what ilvl or specific amount stats (Int or Crit?) is Fire proved to be better damage done than Frost? Considering good management of HU procs.

My mage just seem not to be able to push out more damage with Fire than Frost..

The whole discussion is irrelevant.

In Firelands, you could top with some gimmick fights (Beth, Rhy, Domo if lucky) as well as having massive utility for H Rag. This depreciated with Dragon Soul. We're completely useless this tier. We don't do good single target, we don't do good AOE, we don't do great multi-dot, we don't have good movement utility. This is BC top tier again. If they bring us, it's simply to throw Symbiosis for Tranquility, Rebirth, and/or Mass Dispel.

Yeah, but shamans can spam heals

I tried with 2x Deterrence for damage reduction and 2x Exhilarition, going into that phase with full health, but it wasn't enough. You can't get bandage ticks off because the 'aura' ticks every second. I'm not sure if I had deterrence glyph though, which would reduce the damage a bit more, but yeah... :/

Who am I? :
For starters my name is Bryan also known as "Touchy - Tichondrius" and I am an 18 year old college student. I've been playing spriest sense s1 as well as seen my fair share in pve content throughout the years. I currently have two priest at 90 and geared, currently working on more.

Whats my experience? :
The highest ratting I've played at was 2400 in 3v3s in season 10 and 11 running numerous comps. Although I've been pvp'ing spriest sense s1-current(s12) like most people it was an uphill battle at progressing in this game. I still remember how frustrated I used to get with this game because I would die before I had time to click a defensive cd! I feel that with this experience of slowly but surly progressing throughout every season I can provide a lot of tools and help to others in improvement, as I have had gone though the same battle and still am, because there is always room for improvement.

So why watch my stream? :
I'm not streaming or promoting my stream to get money or to because "efamous" but simply because I enjoy being able to watch people progress though my help. I do however provide as what I'd like to call quality live pvp action though stream... quality game play that is not graphics lol! As well I would be more then happy to answer questions and give out tips to the best of my ability. Just remember I'm not some muti-rank1 glad streaming, we all make mistakes... but I can "almost" guarantee you won't find another active pvp spriest stream out there can compete with this game play.

So whats next? :

IMHO, Stampede should be used in a such way summoned pets benefit from Bloodlust. If the Bloodlust is used at the start of the fight, openning sequence should be something like this

-1 MD, Pre-pot, whatever you need to do before boss is pulled
0 DB
1 Stampede
1.1 Bloodlust
2 the rest...

Please forgive me if this is your guild but unless you are in a guild of absolute "ballers" our dps is fine. I was top dps on our Imperial kill last night and I am constantly in top 5 dps in our 25mans (WOL: Area52: Imminent: Narzbek).

Could our dps be better...yep. When our mage goes all out I cannot keep up but I do not expect to be able to keep up with her. We bring a special utility to the raid, it has been gone over 1,000,000 times. If you are not keeping up with the other dps in your raid then you are either A: really under geared in comparison or B: do not know how to dps properly. I do not want to come off rude/condescending/etc but to come in here and just say, well our dps sucks.....is just wrong in my opinion.

I get brought into our raid for a multitude of reasons, and my dps IS one of them.
