I know this is for pre raid gear, but where can i find a list of the best feral gear for both tanking and dps. even it gives you several options cause i know some items its a choice of the person really.

Hello, I want to share my spec and macros for those who enjoy DW before 3.1 goes live.

In no way am I claiming to be the 1st or implying this is the best way to play your DW DK. This is simply an alternative for those who are looking for easy (lazy) mode way of DPSing.

Disclaimer:
I want to make some things clear I do understand I will be frowned upon and criticized for the use of /castsequence macros, my spec, rotations, and bad grammar. Call me a scrub, noob, or just a bad player. I don’t f-n care I know where this is going to go with some people. You have to understand I made it work and it has been really fun.

Grand Widow Faerlina (If you’re burning down adds)

I have done fairly well with them and never really could talk to folks about it without getting some kind of criticism. I am aware it comes with the territory with any class. Before anyone decides to jump to conclusion and assume I do not follow up what goes in the DK community whether it's here, wow forums, Skeleton Jacks blog, or even Tankspot, well, that's not the case at all. I have always tried to make things a bit easy for myself. I have met folks who can grill themselves to understand their class much more but end up coming up short or have nothing to show for it. This is my take on DW and I have enjoyed it a lot and I hope DW in 3.1 doesn't die.

Your Rotations don't fit with this Spec, You have no way to produce Death Runes for the IT's you do. You don't have Reaping or BotN which are the only two talents that could do that. I'm guessing you put those 3 points that you have remaining into Reaping...

so , what weapons shud we need on in Ulduar for combat/mutilate so far?
I mean overall which weapons do you know gonna be the best to equip to maximize dps , calculated with the poison changes in 3.1 ?

Also , if you do know for pvp aswell , post them too pls ( mutilate prolly cus combat will suck ;p )

Pushing the dps - How do I get closer to the top?

I'm usually sitting around 4.5-5k on patch, while I see other hunters doing way over 6k, how?

Gear, rotation, ms? What do I have to improve.

Atm using prio
Kill Shot
Explosive Shot
Serpent Sting
Aimed Shot
Steady Shot.

I'm using haste gloves, rapid fire, hastegloves before we lust. Using the pet/player ap buff at lust. What am I doing wrong? Is my ms a big problem? Usually its around 60-90. But sometimes when I do naxx it jumps to 150-250, making it harder to do good rotations. Also im staying at range for Sniper.

Hard to check armory as im in pvp gear atm(might change tho). I'm using this specc: Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft. Going to log off in pve gear and specc tonight.

Hello. I am new in the druid class and got my druid 80 two weeks ago. Now i have got some gear for Cat dps and have been wondering what to gem for, for next patch that will say. I have been in MMO forums and checked up a topic, they were talking about Agility and Strength, what two of thoose would be better to gem for next patch. And it was many replies on that topic and i couldn't find any real answer to it, promise it was equal in Strength and Agility that ppl "voted" for. And now i have been reading up this post you made and what do i see, you gem for Arpen. So atm im really confused what to exactly gem for next patch.

So it would be awesome get some real feedback about this gemming for next patch. Would be really thankful.

From what I've gathered, when you switch out an item, or enable a buff, or change anything, Rawr is computing your DPS based on your settings (and whether you have things like Sequence Reconstruction turned on to show you how it's getting those numbers). Optimizer is undoubtedly doing the same thing, but it's looking at unfathomably more combinations due to the number of variables possible, number of sockets, number of items selected per slot, and so forth.

While you can say, "This item has a lot of hit on it, and I don't need 40 hit, I only need 30 hit, so I'll switch out this item and switch in this other item," it's a limited perspective. You could look at Dying Curse and say it's great because hit rating is valued high, it has a ton of hit on it, so you say to yourself, if I can get a lot of hit from one item, I can free up two other slots, and yes, making that switch yourself could show you a higher DPS, but what the Optimizer is doing is saying, "One of those items you'll keep, the other you won't, then you use this gem, and replace Dying Curse with this other trinket, and it's an even better combination."

The only thing I can really think of concerning the optimizer tool is that in older builds (pre-2.1.6) it wasn't always working the greatest with gemmings, but the new gemming template is amazing and it works quite well now. I'm very impressed with how far Rawr has come, and of course, very appreciative (and vocal about it).

A few quick questions:

1. Which armor combination is likely to be the best, ie. 2t7+2t8 looks like it will be strong?
2. With 2t8, will that make Rake worth using, and hence gemming for agil?
3. Without 2t8(depends on answer to Q1.), will the strongest gem be ArPen as suggested above, replacing rake with shred in the dps rotations?
