First: I was wondering if it would be more worthwhile to spend money on leveling blacksmithing or buy a nobles deck for DMC:G. I would do both if I had the cash, but I just don't. I would be dropping mining, and I already have JC. Keep in mind I would be doing BS for the extra sockets. From what I can calculate, they are not too far apart cost-wise (maybe I'm wrong). Any recommendations would be appreciated.

If you have mining it would probably be best for you to look up a profession grinding guide, calculate the mats you need and go mine them yourself. That way you can buy the trinket as well.

I tried, but seriously trying to mine 400-500 thorium bars takes forever, with their rather low spawn rate and huge zones with no flying mounts.
Besides, once you get past old world bars it gets considerably easier, outland will still cost some gold to level, and in northrend vendoring all you make will return more than half of your gold.

I recently hit 80 on my hunter. And it feels good to play her again. She was my pvp tool back in vanilla but I stopped playing her after BC hit. I am enjoying playing my hunter again though especially in PvP because as the title states i think we go blow things up in PvP, at least in battlegrounds. I havent really tested arenas yet, but I've heard we a re very under represented. Anyways my question/statement is I'd like to pvp on my hunter as marks. I've had an amazing time doing it as survival but Ive watched marks get quitly buffed and buffed. I've searched these forums but could not find any information on PvP marks builds on tips & tricks for PvPing as marks/survival. If anyone has a link to some info i would greatly appreciate. Like i said before I am enjoying pvping on my hunter again, its just been so long since Ive played her that I lost that blood thirst I had when I was going for grand marshal. I know its going to take some time but I know I can get back to that same level of intensity I had back in the day, but any help the hunter community can give me is greatly appreciated.

I have a little problem finding a ring that fit TTW/FB. I am currently using Titanium Spellshock Ring and Signet of Manifested Pain. What ring should i replace Titanium Spellshock with until i get Pyrelight Circle? Signet of the Kirin Tor is out of the question.
Anyone else have any issues with Satrina's buff frames? I just recently swapped over and have started to use them. For some reason though, about 3 out of 5 times it will crash my wow client when I try to open the options. Especially if Im in a raid. It will just hang, and I end up having to force close.
What's the verdict on life tap glyph with the duration change in simcraft for full destro with no hit talents? Is it good enough to override the immolate glyph?
i've been picking up extra hit gear-frozen loop to replace inscribed kirintor ring, and living flame to replace dying curse which would put me in position to drop the 3% hit talent-and i cant find anyway possible to yield a better dps, and i actually lose about 200 dps according to the spreadsheet. and this is of course replacing life tap glyph with the incinerate glyph

@Goru: Something like THIS would probably be a standard Prot build, which gets all key mitigation talents, with 6 points left over for maxed Spiritual Attunement, POJ and the various utility and/or threat talents.

I assumed it would not be buffed, but I tested it to make sure. Don't think your post was necessary.
I've been collecting gear based on the lootrank lists in the first post, both for best hit gear and best non hit gear.
My question is what is the best way to maximize gear sets (one for 11% hit and one for 14% hit)? Is there a program that I can put all of my current and spare collected gear into and it would maximize which pieces to use?
Should I start with all my best non hit gear, then fill in with hit gear and gem for hit, or start with hit gear that gets me up to the hit cap then fill in the rest and gem for spelldamage?
Also, I do have an abundance of hit gear. Is there a talent that's really worth while to grab instead of 3% hit, or will maximizing gear with that talent always be a better dps boost?
I have a simple question about the talents because i want to switch from fury back to arms.
