thanks korlash, unfortunalty i dont have access to beta server, so as you can imagine i have lots of questions, it would be great if the topic of pets could be updated once and a while to keep us hunters who have not got beta keys in the loop.

Expertise and Berserker's Call

I'm really sorry if this is the wrong place to point this out, every thread I found was closed and this is my first post ever so I couldn't make my own thread.

I found that something wasn't pointed out here about Expertise that should be as I think it is very important:

Orcs should prioritize axes for the +5 Expertise racial bonus. This is applied per hand non stacking, so an axe/mace combo only applies expertise to the axe, and an axe/axe combo would apply 5 Expertise to each hand (which would be the same as having 5 Expertise on an armor item).
Orcs get Expertise with axes, this is NOT the same as Expertise Rating that you find on items. It is the same thing only 1 Expertise is equal to 4 Expertise Rating.

The Orc 5 Expertise racial therefore gives us the equivalent to 20 Expertise Rating.
Alternatively, Shard of Contempt for example with 44 Expertise Rating equals 11 Expertise.

I apologise again if this has been pointed out, but your comparison of orc expertise being the same as expertise on items is incorrect as items only use Expertise Rating and not Expertise.

The other thing I wanted to point out was regarding "Use" trinkets like Berserker's Call which I will use as an example.
Your calculation for the EP value is very nice, finding the amount of AP it gives over its 20 seconds Activated Use and spreading it over the whole cooldown. However there is a fundamental flaw in this.

I use the Orc Racial (Blood Fury), Berserker's Call, Shamanistic Rage and a Haste Pot at the same time in a macro. Now during the full "Use" of my orc racial and 75% of Berserker's Call I'm benefitting from +400 haste.
Therefore, if you are spreading the EP value of it over the whole 2min CD... they become more powerful because you would also spread the "Use" of the Haste Pot over the 2min.

I'm not 100% sure and have not done the maths, but then how would I go about finding the true EP value of this item? Other chance on hit items cannot be given the same boost from Haste Pots and other "Use" trinkets that will scale with it.

Doesn't seem to be listed here, but Wowhead is now saying that the releasedate for Wotlk is the 13th of november and they're calling this releasedate official, so I guess it came from Blizz HQ.

They are after all an official fansite and I doubt they would speculate: Wowhead: OMG IT'S ALMOST HERE

EDIT: This also leaves little time for any serious redesigns of the mage concerns brought up, but my hope remains that we are getting some kind of neat buff to the weak areas.
