Fairly sure you need to be 80. I've heard of people having trouble due to not having the correct ranks of spells, I suspect that at 77 you will be missing a few of these ranks.

Hey guys, I'm pretty new to this board but have been always used it for information. I was wondering whats the approx hit, haste, and armor pen needed in the 13/58 ss build, I have been always stacking haste and was wondering if I should lean more towards armor pen?

I think I am more like Ezarg really, not sure if the feeling is the same but I just dont ever feel 100% "comfortable" if I am the MT healer.

That could and likely is also my lack of experience also, I know it is part of it.

It likely is no different than any other healer, if I am having to spam Nourish I have that anxiety of wondering oh crap if I miss one or if I stop to redo a HoT and the tank dies etc... but that might be normal.

This is one reason why I have considered using the Regrowth glyph for a 20% bigger direct heal when reapplying the HoT I am just curious how that would work since Nourish is already boosted by # of hots.

We do have a system in the works to have preset boss conditions, but that's a ways off at this point.

OK to start with this forum is my bible i use it for all aspects of WoW on all of my characters. But, i cant help but notice a fairly large aspect of the game that gets glossed over, pvp. For DKs there is an exhaustive amount of material on pve tanking and dps but nothing or next to nothing that can be applied to pvp. My DK is currently speced for blood dps which i have to say is mostly with the assistance of these forums and for pvp I usually just use that spec and slap on my pvp gear the only change is that i use glyph of heart strike for some additional control instead of DRW which in my opinion doesn't real do enough of my total dps to count for a lot. For the most part it works but it would be nice to have a discussion i could follow that explains why it works or what could be better about it. additionally I am speced for blood tanking as well so i can step up to tanking when my guild needs it for naxx (usually we have 2 paly tanks but a few fights require a solid aoe off tank and 2 tanks on boss so i step up and boss tank with i must say quite a bit of success) but I'm noticing a disturbing trend leading away from considering blood as a viable tank spec. is this intentional or am i just not reading the right posts?

First let me say you have done a great job.

I have a simple recommendation to make more usefull for people rolling a mage for the 1st time. Add a section at the front explaining the Abbreviations used.

Got a huge problem need help! have human lock and try a lot things on rotation with spells still not found the right one never can get over 16 .00% dps .
About to delete him lvl 80 with 3 pieces of hateful set and 1 plague which is hero and boots are titian and head is ebon hat
can`t spell good

Really upset i get into party pug groups and get replaced a lot because I`m not rating high on recount all i want is to a decent amount of dmg so get chance to improve my toon. I really like this site its great . I use macro because I`m handicapp my left side is paralyze something i do not like to talk about ,but i try to improve always . So any help will help! Oh i`m aff lock try all but love the aff dot .

Hello everyone, i'm quit new to this forum so i have no idea if this question is allready asked and been dealt with, so forgive me for that.

Recently i came to this forum and used the dps sheed to see how much dps i should do, and came to notice that with my gear i should do more damage then i do now (2700 at this very moment).

I've been running through some rotation guides and tried to get some help in guild but it doesn't improve at all.

My question is simple, can you pl explain me the very basics of what i should have as base stats for combat fists dps (including expertise and armorpenentration)

PS: i've come to notice Drake mounted crossbow, kel'thuzads reach and the hand of nerub aren't available in the dps sheed, does that have some reason?

PvP gear is going to hurt you as far as dps is concerned. Are you gemming/enchanting/speccing for PvE? 16% damage - you must be talking about 5 man instances? It seems a bit strange that a Pug would rotate you out of an instance, its not like any of them are hard, even without heroic gear.

And my guilds 3/6 tanks are Warrior (main MT and main OT included) which means there's allways %20 sunder armor on boss. And there is feral dps who always comes and always does faerie fire on boss which means %5 more armor reduction. All these add up to about +- %110 ArP when my trinket is procced and +-%65 when not procced.
am i wasting any stats? should i go building up armor penet or should i stick on the good ole STR?(currently i have about 5-7 STR stones that i can immediately convert to ArP and I have 4300AttackPower)

I would appreciate any help, I really need guidance..

The only thing I can guess is your experiencing some fluke of bad luck, I currently have a Worldcarver and a Ironsoul, and any calculation I do on the spreadsheet where I replace the Ironsoul with a Rune Edge, I gain dps.

Far as ArP goes my experience w/ playing with the spreadsheet suggests your SEP for ArP isn't going to surpass STR till about 45% on gear, but then it plummets down again at 47%...so I personally don't see a reason to ever gem it as a fury warrior.

Dude youre gemmed reallyyyyy weird. Youre gemmed pure crit and pure hit, also youre wayyy under hit cap if youre attempting to PVE, if you want to play destruction i suggest going 3/13/55, and 53/0/18 for affliction.

What i would do honestly is go affliction change all your pure crit and pure hit gems to 9spldmg 8 hit rating, also get some hit items made for example that staff of yours can easily be replaced with the Titansteel dps sword and the badge offhand, you can also get Ring of northern tears made which while blue is a nice hit ring to have.

So pvp gear maybe my problem yes i gemming which i`m a enchanter as well, got kik from naxx one time which i know the fights never finished Nax 10man /25 man never done a 5 man .the 16.00% is what i see with recount gage its 16k in wow chat i guess .
Thought PVP gear was ok ,but when i did kara i remember GM saying need Pve gear for running instance. Then new Lich king came out and lvl changed thinking pvp gear would be ok crit/hit was high so thought it be ok . Well wish it was true but on this server the groups will rotate for another in a second if ur dps not up above 20k or better . Hard to get gear with way they run some of these instanced always saying going check u out on ur spec . Thank you! Angaroth

Ok here is what you should do:

Head = Change meta to 21 splcrit 3% increased crit dmg.
Shoulder = 9spldmg 8 hit
Chest = 19spldmg x 9 spldmg 8 hit (Veiled monarch Topaz)
Gloves = 28 spldmg 9 spldmg 8 hit
Belt = 9 spldmg 8 hit + 9 spldmg 8 spirit (purified twilight opal)
Pants = 9spldmg 8 hit + 9 spldmg 8 spirit
Boots = 9 spldmg 8 hit
Ring#2 (Wyrmrest band) change to = Ring of Northern tears + 9 spldmg 8 spirit

This will hit cap you for affliction 56/0/15 and destruction 3/13/55

This is using your PVP gear.

Assuming you want to get some PVE gear made:

Neck : See if you can buy yourself Chain of latent Energies
Shoulders : Id use the badges to get shoulders
Chest: Heroic Badges for 10 man chest (80 badges of heroism) or do Vault of archavon.
Belt: Plush sash of guzbah (40 badges of heroism)
Pants: Tier 7, Vault of archavon or Valor badges.
Boots: Get wyrmrest exalted
Ring # 2: 25 valor badge ring.

You have very low haste, i suggest working more on your gear.

Something I have been wondering for a while, is it worth getting the greatness card at this point, or would it be better off waiting on the next patch and for the new trinkets that are coming out. I just have been trying to determine the differences and if the greatness card would still be coming ahead or breaking even.

For bears it is pretty worth it still, but for kitty it's probably not unless you are rolling in gold and can't get anything better.
