Slow weapons should be the best if nothing changes.
In ulduar you have:
- a sword on razorscale 10men (2.60)
- a sword on kologarn 25men (2.50)
- a mace on thorim 25men (2.60)
There are other slow weapons in hard modes but you mentioned casual so I guess you have no access to them.

alternative to Melancholy Sabatons
Im having a pretty hardtime getting the Melancholy Sabatons since i didnt start my raiding until begning of february. Im pretty hardcore raiding atm, downed all of ulduar.
Is there a substitue for the boots? Any mail or leather? I dont seem to find any plate with ArP in ulduar at all.
Ofc my spec is blood ^^

I was wondering if either [Grim Toll] or [Mjolnir Runestone] are needed to make the swap from Surv to Marks if my Armor Pen is high enough.

No you don't need those trinkets to switch to MM. Marksmen takes over survival dps well before you're able to meet the armor pen build. As always, using the spreadsheet or dps analyzer would be the best way to see which spec is better for your current gear set.

You can easily find out from Wowhead Items - World of Warcraft
At a glance, [Boots of Living Scale] seem to be the best choice due to low agi, high AP, low stam and two sockets. Moreover, they are crafted BoEs from Leatherworking.

Something I have found out not by doing, but looking at some WWS logs, DRW works with Blood Boil. WoW Meter Online - Combatlog Replay
and WoW Meter Online - Combatlog Replay
My question is, what would be the rotation? IT, PS, Pest, DRW, BT, DS, DS, BBx7?
I have read the whole thread, and not found anything on DRW and Blood Boil, excuse me if I missed it.

I am not sure why you posted a log from 2009-04-28.
The DRW + Blood Boil issue has been long since fixed.

So, before anyone goes on about how simple my question is and how readily available some of the information pertaining my question can be, let it be known that the answer is not clear to me, most probably due to the fact that it varies depending on the situation. My question is what is the "proper" (most conventional) rotation for Mutilate build when in PvE and when in PvP? I've tried several different rotations without "success" (Refering to dps reached on sheet).
There is also talk about useful skills to be used around the rotation, the list is extensive as i've spent a good 50 hours reading about this topic, forums here included. So let me know. I realize there is another thread that seems perhaps more pertinent than this one towards to topic but i find it fits in well here, as it ties in with balancing other abilities within the so called rotation.

Changes?
So After all this Contending Has anyone come up with a detailed tutorial or just an overall page on what changes are gonna need to be made to maximize dps and any kind of new stats they'll be leaning toward. glyphs librams weapon types ect ect. new rotations and how prioritizing will be needed in 3.2?
After reading over 18 pages of this thread ive seen a billion diff approaches and opinions. when can i expect a final decition or perhaps a general idea from which to experiment with?

I have AP:3837 Hit:443 Crit:42.88 Expertise:5.5%
if I changed all the gems in my gear at the Hit then i get this stats: AP:3511 Hit:688 Crit:39.43 Expertise:6.5%
lose 326 AP 3,45% Crit, but received cap Precision
that would be better?

I have searched the forums but could not find an answer. What is a good spell rotation for Fireball spec (18/53/0). I have been using the 3.0 rotation : scorch x2 LB FBx3 then repeat. We have a Imp SB lock now so i don't have to scorch anymore. So i am at a lost for a viable rotation. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well I'm glad that for my first post here someone agreed with it and I didn't go down in flames haha. TBH I've been debating whether to use this spec or to go unholy, or to just go unholy once I get a 4 set of T9, just because of the buff to disease damage in general in t9 and 3.2 in general. I think this blood spec, regardless of minor choices, will be best damage before then.

Having been trolling around elitist jerks for a while but i seem to have a problem that i cant really fix, and it's my shot rotation. Currently I am the MM cookie cutter spec and my ArP is not the number would ideally want, so it's caused me to still roll Agi with gems and enchants. Usually at the end of the night i will end up with 4k dps average 5-5.5k on most bosses but i know i can do much better with the gear i currently have equipped. My shot rotation, yes SHOT ROTATION usually falls under (ignoring Kill Command, Rapid Fire and REadiness, we all know where to put those in) SerpSting, Chim, Aimed, Arcane and about 3-4 steady shots and start over with the chim, aimed, arcane, steady (x3) ETC ETC. However my problem is when i get back to chimera shot at the beginning of my rotation my Aimed and Arcane are already ready.
So i guess my question is, should i keep this shot rotation b/c it is more consistent and actually somewhat a rotation, and maybe getting a more shots off
Or switch it up to something different like a Survival Hunter who has no roatation and shot more of my special abilities.
Also was confused why somebody said that we should have Serp Sting glyph, i dont know why would need the extra couple seconds on that when your chimera shot will refresh that

Your gemming for a start, your using a JC gem in your helm that has a red socket, throw a runed scarlet ruby in there and move that JC gem into a blue socket. Your also using alot of sp/spirit gems that i wouldn't think to be a wise choice either.
Your also quite a ways over the hit cap, so consider swapping some of your hit gear for non-hit to bring yourself back down?

At the moment I have 3 trinkets: Mjolnir Runestone, Blood of the Old God, and the Greatness card. I've looked at numerous spreadsheets specifically Aldriana's and Mavanas' and getting different results.

Question about comparing Worldcarver vs Heart of Iron. Last night ignis dropped both, i had the EP for the worldcarver, but not the the heart of iron(If i recieved Worldcarver) over the next bidder. By mistake i was awarded both pieces. I now to have to ticket one and keep the other.
As a DK Tank, i was wondering what would be the best upgrade?
With my current gear that i use to tank, i am hit / expertise capped w/o gemming / enchanting. My question is from a serious tanking standpoint which upgrade should i go with? Note* I will lose hit rating switching from stormedge to worldcarver, and i will be well over expertise softcapped(I can change some gear to lower it and maybe get hit capped again).
Am i overvaluing hit / expertise and undervaluing stam / avoidance?
Some outside imput would be nice.
