Hi guys, just a quick question. Last night the mace Bloodcrush Cudgel dropped in ulduar. Im thinking of replacing the hand of nerub I currently use. Im a combat rogue, using 15/51/5 atm (Slow Sword / Fast Fist). Stats wise the mace is better, however im just worried ive missed something in the talents. Can somebody please clarify my beleif that this change will not harm my dps. Thanks.

BTW - Please dont say your not hit capped etc. Currently regemming :-)

I was starting with 0/53/18 in 10-man Colo with the "Beasts of Northend" but I really had problems with the aggro... I was able to surpass a full Ulduar gear tank very quickly. Infight DPS was mostly around 5100, for the lack of raidbuffs a very pleasing outcome.
Just UA used one time, no army or any other huge cd used, was just a clean "tank 'n' spank" fight, we kept the important CDs for the worms

Next was Ulduar Heroic, went really good so here you go with the WoL Log:

I am using Glyph of Disease because I now have the possibility to switch between rotation, wether we have an enhancer or not. And I am producing enough RP to get some FrostStrikes, most of the time to much to use... and the 3 points in subversion helped a lot. Especially for OB crit

Talking about aggro, anyone else had problems without subversion??
Similar / Different expereciences concerning Subversion / BCB?

Hi there, that's a cool UI that you have there, whats the name of the buff UI that you have there on the right side?
Also what UI are you using for the party that shows the cool images of chars?

Getting back on the topic I am also using 3/52/16 and its working great. I was thinking about going 0/54/17 but not sure if that's gonna work.

Is there a post anywhere pointing out what is a good point to be at for starting to raid? Things like what should your ap, agil, hit, etc.. be before you decide to raid? And is there a post listing a pre-naxx gear list to get before u raid? i have a 80 warrior and I know there are many posts helping you know where u should be at before you start to raid and i'm interested in knowing if there is one for hunters. Thanks

First of all, i need to say you are doing a GREAT job! Cheers! And seconldy, your addon is great. As i was new to feral a month ago, i've progressed at least 100% faster with the help of your explainations and theories.

Furthermore, I was wondering, if you would be able to make BiS list for the new content aswell. What do you think of new tier pices (almost no arp?!)?

A new BiS list would be great. I already tryed to make one, but it's not easy, to much hit.

In my opinion the new tier pieces are bad, to much hit and expertise... The arp isn't the problem, see here: Patch 3.2 - Trial of the Crusader - Loot List.

First off thanks for taking the time to help me but I have an extremely noob question about simcraft. I say noob question because I know the answer is probably right in front of me.

I understand that simcraft is assuming you are at full raid buffs and such but how do you know what buffs it is assuming you have on?

Also again the answer is probably in front of me but how do I figure out what spell rotation it was using?

I'd really appreciate wowhead profiles with BiS gear, as I'm balance and not that deep into feral theorycraft.
Would make my life a bit easier while maintaining the druid BiS profiles for simulationcraft.

A while back Blutelf posted a really nice list of gearing up to raid suggestions for Ret. Could someone please throw together an updated version of that list including suggestions for all the Conquest emblems? Does all of the new gear in 3.2 make the crafted items that use Runed Orbs pretty much not worth it anymore?

Just HOW MUCH Haste is necesarry as of patch 3.2 for a successful PvE Resto Druid.

Also, I tend to LB over Nourish, should I do this or will Nourishing more and forgetting LB help my fps..?

at least you need gcd on cap for your hots, and that depends on your raidbuffs and specc(see page 11 in this thread). this can be 253 to 5xx haste. with 4t9 I want to be on the gcd with my hots and stack crit as high as possible (after sp ofc), without 4t9 I prefer to stack haste so I don't depend on shamans and retris.

Without the 3% from CF, 359 is the soft haste cap for restoration druids (again page 11) with the 3% aura and 5% totem in the raid. Most restoration druids do not get this 3% talent.

Thanks for this. I was getting BiS for all of my gear and I couldn't figure out how I had become so amazing since the last time I checked.

Also fixed the issue of dragon's eyes screwing things up for me as I updated that as well.

I'm also wondering about this, if we have suboptimal gear without much ArP on it and are now seeing a dps decrease from switching from say 12/0/59 in 3.1 to 0/17/54 in 3.2 what are our options? aside from of course getting arp on our gear. is the 0/53/18 DW Frost build also very gear dependent?

Speaking of best in slot items, I've got a question about the tribute to insanity reward the ilvl272 cloaks. My opinion is that again the agility one again seems better than the strength one. I mean won't 97agility and 57 arp best the bonus attack power and 57 hit rating on the str one? And also, why put a stat like hit rating on a BiS item, shouldn't it have been at least some Arp? I don't know if anyone understand me but to give an example, it's like putting hit rating on Betrayer of Humanity. My last question, It is pretty newbish but I javen't got the oportunity to test this at the moment so could anyone tell me if agility also increases attack power like str does for rogues, or so it did. I knew for rogue 1str=1ap so by analogy 1agy should be 1 ap for us
