That aside, surely the dagger off of Algalon is better than Runescribed...or is it that it's so unobtainable that it isn't put there?

i been following these fourms for a while now and i need to ask for some advise, I cant seem to get my dps higher than 3k. i have hit 4k a few times but i have to say its mostly 3k, if some one could take a look at my spec, gear and gems and tell me where im messed up at i would appreciate it very much.

This is absolutely NOT true. Take off all your gear except your ranged weapon, respec if you're BM, and your Steady Shot cast time (NOT the tooltip, the tooltip does not reflect haste changes) will be about 1.7.

Well on first glance I don't think gear is your issue. You have good gear, properly gemmed, you have the hit cap and the cookie cutter spec.

Now we moves onto the intangables.

1) Are your buffs all there when raiding?
2) Are you always flasked/blackend dragonfined?
3) (something I had never before considered till this post) How is your latency?
4) Do you use the proper rotation?
5) Do you clip your explosion shots?
6) Are you managing your debuffs? (BA, SrS etc)
7) What pet do you use?
8) Both your professions are gathering. If you have a crafting profession (or 2) you open up better enchants/gems on certain slots.
9) Party makeup also is important. Again as mentioned to me, sunders and other armor affecting debuffs help a lot.
10) Do you move around a lot, or generally stand still?

To relate, I generally do between 3600-4400. We have few warriors, I do not (as of yet) use haste potions. My latency is usually very bad (around 200 on average). And have a few slot issues (blue head piece losing 100+dps delta according to the spreadsheet).

i also use the rotation KS,ES,BW,SpS, AS, SS, MS

my latency is usually 150-250 depending on time of day, my pet is a wolf
I aleways use a flask of endless rage and blackened dragonfin, we usually get all the buffs in 25 man runs but the 10 man buffs are skimpy.. i also buff my pet with mammoth treats

sorry for the confusion, my rotation is killshot, explosive shot, black arrow, serpent sting, and i fill in with aimed shot, steady shot and multi shot, which ever has their cooldown ready

From looking at your Loatheb fight, it looks like you are loose with your shot rotation/priority. Either from lag or from bad timing.

For example, Loatheb was 288 seconds long, and you only got off 41 explosive shots. For that duration with 0 LnL proc's you should have even more than that. (You were however, unlucky with LnL proc's, I see only 1 in 288 second fight.) I would also derive this considering your ExS was 31% of your damage and auto was 27%. The raito should be a lot larger, with ExS being more % of your damage.

Are you missing Black Arrow? I see 50 tick's of BA for the 288 seconds (I don't remember off the top of my head how many times it ticks, but this seems low for almost a 5m fight)

Buffs you have look good, debuffs on the mob look pretty good.

What mods do you use for shot priority / rotation? It seems you need to tighten it up a bit.
