What server are you in? It seems that many people i see arounf me still don't have there epic's and are raiding uldar so they've been 80 for awhile. Is it that different between servers or are all these people just spending there gold on silly things?

Hi all! I've been gazing through this thread and I wanted to ask some questions that lay on my mind for a while and that i couldn't really be sure about their answers. I've been arms and spent a good deal of time with the spec (1 till 70, then I went prot, and after wotlk, became fury)

I'm using arms as the secendary spec, and mainly for arena not battleground. Should there be any difference between bg specs and arena specs?

And really how effective is bladestorm? does it deserve to be the ulti in the tree? I currently open blood fury (orc racial) and all the necessary cooldowns right before the storm for it to worth a shit. is it any more than 6 consecutive whirlwinds?

One thing I wonder about is about the rotation. I'm not gonna ask what the ideal rotation is as i believe you guys are beginning to get sick at them

My current rotation is:
Rend(till time is up) + MS + Operpower proc + execute proc + HS... I was using this till one night i accidently pressed sweeping strike. It dealt a good deal of damage, and since rage is coming out of my ears in arenas i have no problem with it. Yet while reading through this forums I havent seen anyone implement on sweeping strikes. what is it used for actually? Arms PVE? and how effectiver is it?

Method of reporting better templates:
If you´ve found a template that yields more DPS than any of the above you can report it in any of the following ways
a) Give a full description of anything that´s not a fixed value as per this post (glyphs, gear, talents, used buff consumables etc.).
b) Download the spreadsheet linked above and explain precisely what you changed
c) Posting/sending me an exported gear string from the spreadsheet. This is also very helpful in addition to any of the above methods.
d) Download the spreadsheet, make the changes, upload it somewhere and give me the link to it
If the changes ain´t submitted in any of those ways or if important parts are omitted I can´t and won´t include it here.

i went engineer/ miner since you could make the best bullets out there right now. plus a few other helpful before you get higher lvl'ed gear, such as a head peice and gun. hope that helped.

It seems that hunter are still very close to the top but from what i've been told BM is no longer the way to go. My guild made me re-spec to Survial, and i have to say i've seen a huge improvement without much gear change

Due to the change now, it seems wolfs have become very popular due to there howl, which increases your melee and range attack power. I have talked to multiple hunter with Loque'nahak( the spirt beast) and they all seem to say the dps is about the same as a normal cat except it looks much cooler.

So i guess im saying not really, don't let it die to much and try to keep it alive in raids and it'll be lvl 80 before you know it.

I have a crab and i believe it does stop it from spinning and to get away, when it pins i use dis-engage so that i quickly put some distance between myself and the target and continue firing,

In Naxx hunters can top the charts easily. In Ulduar there's only a few fights where it's even possible. We're more middle to bottom of the dpsers. Marks and Surv are running neck and neck in Ulduar. Marks looks like it will pull ahead as you get more and more Ulduar gear. BM hasn't been the best dps spec for quite awhile now.

FYI, better off gemming for agi as Surv.

i have a friend that says he really likes an owl for a pet when he's fighting humaniods, it disarms them from it's special ability. if you jsut looking for a pet not many have, this may be one worth looking into.

I've been told that enchanting is a money pit, but can be worth it in the long run. It seems like all mages are that combo so it must be working. Ether that or perhaps try herb/alchamy.
