I don't get it? What did you have instead of blood spatter? Imp EA? Vigor? Fleet Footed? QR?

This is as far as I can get without Blood Spatter and keeping 'key DPS talents' in assassination, but without blood spatter.

DK aoe tank build

first time poster.. pls be gentle

I am the only aoe specced tank in my guild. even the paladins prefer to spec for MT duties (although they still do damned good aoe threat).

my build is however different to any other ive seen, and ive started to have problems with generating enough threat.
heres my build:

Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft

I take unholy down to 3 diseases and scourge strike (single target threat).

I take blood down to VotTW (an awesome expenditure of 3 talent points), and 2 points in bloody strikes.

THis means my blood boil is not only stronger due to having 3 diseases, it is also 20% more dmg from talents.

Im wondering if im gimping my build for generating threat? I think the 3 points in spell deflection are wasted, and im interested in moving them.

Im not sure if the glyph of blood strike is that good compared to rune strike. i blood strike a lot in single target fights, and the mob is always snared due to desecration - but runestrike may be better now i have the sigil from razorscale. anyone know how i can measure the threat of the 2 and decide which glyph i should be using?

As second side point is that im the tank of choice for tanking mimiron and general in ulduar. my build is not great for single target threat, and especially general is difficult when the casters get insane dps buffs.

My guild prefers tanks to have a dps off-spec for raiding. so we can switch to dps if not needed.
I have been 'told' that there exists a blood MT spec, that would both allow me to do better single target MT threat for these types of bosses, but also allow me to dps well (in different gear and prescence) for fights like hodir (we have our drood tank).

Can someone suggest which of the blood builds this would be?

Im sorry for my English, and if this were discussed before.

My question is - why we need SrS Glyph, if with or without it DOTs r the same, and its refreshs after using Chimera.
Or someone doesnt use Chimera at every CD, and wait till SrS will be on 20s sec?
Or DOTs r not the same?

Did anyone think about it?

With the glyph you get two extra ticks, so chimera does more damage as in takes into account those two extra ticks.

Hello guys and gals. I'm starting a new character and after much indecision i've chosen the Lock. I've searched in some forums about which one is the best alliance race for PvE, some people say human and others gnome. I like a lot more the small one, but i'm not sure if the racials are that good. So... anyone could point me if there's a lot of difference between these races?

I've been tanking for a few months now, my guild has all the keepers but Mimiron down in 25 man and I've noticed a pattern developing. When I tank, there is a specific hunter and mage that rides my butt when it comes to threat. It's not just me, though, it's all our tanks so that's why I've ignored it so long. Am I, or our tanks in general, doing something wrong for them to be this close to me/us? No other players are an issue but those two ride our butts in threat.

So, I guess my question is... Is it normal for certain classes to ride butts in aggro if they're not using their threat reduction talents / abilities?

You're asking, in general, if certain classes/specs have issues with their threat generation if they don't have or use threat reducing abilities? Yes, this has always been the case in tanking (long before Deathknights). It's not a problem unless they pull the mob off you.
