I have question. My guild do it Ulduar 25, but no Hard mode yet. I'm using Rawr and i have question about some items on my character.

Whats you think about my items? Hit cap in raid done, crit is preety to mutch imo, and haste to low. I don't have chance to take tier8,5 shoulders from Yogg Saron now, i think that shoulders from general is good for me. Mantle of the Unknowing - Item - World of Warcraft

There's absolutely no reason whatsoever to have 6 death runes simultaneously.

There's a very, very minor tactical flexibility in being able to turn any of your runes into death runes on command.

That flexibility is so minor that it's not generally considered worth the sacrifice. Even in the spec you posted, which is mostly reasonable, you'd be far better off putting the three points in Death Rune Mastery into Scent of Blood or 2H Spec + Anticipation.

A good start would be to change to offhand to [Surplus Limb] But I doubt that you are raiding nax still. If you still got your T7,5 shoulders I would equip those. That would increase your haste with 80 but overall stats will be a bit less due to lack of spirit on the T7.5 shoulders.

The +23 haste cloak enchant instead of the lightweave embroidery could help you out aswell.

It's just trying out what will bring you the most dps in a raid.

Hit and crit should be sufficient, imo crit can't be enough as a firemage (as long as enough haste is in place ofc )

Do not do this.

Lightweave is the best dps gain a mage can gain from a profession, and +23 haste is a woeful downgrade in dps terms, regardless of your current haste situation.

To put into context, Lightweave in my Rawr accounts for 141 dps, which is significantly higher than +23 haste, which I think sits at around the 30 - 40 dps mark.

Your true that the embroidery is the best dps enchant obtained by a profession !

Like he states he wants to increase his haste there for I mentioned the haste enchant, but looking at the downfall of dps when switching to the +23 haste it isn't a wise choice indeed.

Yes i have Surplus and i have 7,5 shoulders.
About my enchant on cloak, i never change him ;P. I think, that my rings/wrist and boots is gimp with haste rating.
I must think about this and take some items with haste now. Maybe this [Ironmender], i don't know.

first i wanted to thank you for this place and all the good information i got here so far.

As i dont have the time to read through all the latest threads i wanted to give it a try here:

1. The Specc nowadays:
I just loved to be affliction WL in Wotlk
The changes of no life leech dot and no immo any more (+ the fucking life tap glyph) made me switch to Destro
Destro keeps me on top of the meter, but i can see a very good WL fellow every now and then who comes close (but has less good gear).
-> Which Specc is the best regarding only damge/dps ? Destro or Affli (both without our 30 min puppy, i always forget it before the fight xD)
(if there is no difference between the speccs it was just me beeing lazy and not refreshing something)

2. Talent
the SL / ISL thingy in the Destro tree somehow irritates me. 5 Points for a bit of Refreshment (and less life taps) sounds not too good to me in these ulduar times (where we as DDs have to move too :p).
Is it realy worth it (regarding all the ulduar encounters like Freya, Hodir, Thorim, Yogg) or does it only save you a tap or two in encounters where you also would be able to tap without a dps loss?

If there is a coruptor close to the crusher a Pally can interupt by using hammer of the rightous on the corupter. Hammer counts as a melee hit and the range for secondary targets is greater than the range for the first target. I believe a bear can do the same thing with swipe.

Has anyone tried 44/27? Frost going down to frost strike and unholy getting perma ghoul?
I also have a question. Does 20% attack power going to spell power talent, which attacks does it effect for the dk?
