Dunno why Rawr doesn't take Misery into account, since Arcane mages, require 11% hit and with misery debuff on the boss that adds up to 8%
Or am I mistaken? :P
And thank you, thought as much :P

"Let us consider a moment what would need to happen for Executioner to catch Berserking. Given that they seem to have similar proc rates, one presumes that it would require the Executioner proc (120 ArPen) to be competitive with the Berserking proc (400 AP). And this will be the case only if 1 ArPen is as good as 3.33 AP, i.e., its worth 3.33 EP.
Only with the most ArPen-heavy setups does the value of ArPen even crack 3. And in those setups, the goal is to *passively* push the ArPen cap, at which point there's no room for Executioner anyway. As such, there's little reason to believe that Executioner will ever be competitive. Plus, it's a nuisance to model correctly. Hence, I have no particular plans to ever do so, until such time there is reason to believe that it will compete with Berserking."

Gemming Expertise and Hit
I read through the initial part of this thread, but I don't have time to read the whole thing. It initially says not to gem for hit or expertise and that it will "come naturally" on gear. That's a problem. Neither of those stats come naturally on my gear, as I'm not able to run much more than heroics. In this case, shouldn't I gem for those stats rather than leave them uncapped?

Part of the issue here is that this thread is based on raiding, and gear from current top-tier raiding content basically chucks huge quantities of hit and expertise at you, such that you need to balance your gear carefully as to not go way over the cap in either (I think someone calculated that you can get enough expertise from DPS gear in current content to be able to completely remove parries from the table, even on bosses).
As far as actually gemming for hit, you ALWAYS want to be at the hit cap even if it means gemming hit, though at what expense is the question. Under the hit cap, hit is by far our most valuable stat, so unless you're trading off something like 40 strength for <20 hit, you'll probably benefit more from the hit. Of course, if you can't run anything more than heroics, the hit cap is lower than it is for raiding as there aren't boss mobs in heroics.
Expertise is more of a personal decision. Most rets I've found don't gem for expertise because even though it's nice removing a number of dodges from the attack table, strength still provides more benefit. This isn't to say you shouldn't gear for expertise, but it's usually not a good idea to gem for expertise.

which trinkets do you peeps think would be best to use of these 5?
Shard of the Crystal Heart, Eye of the broodmother, Elemental Focus Stone, Dying Curse and Talisman of Volatile Power.
I have been saving dkp for the Reign of the Unliving, but it hasn't dropped for us yet.
Or, does anyone recommend any other trinkets?

greetings, first time im posting, been a huge follower of EJ for a couple of years almost now.
given my current gear ( The World of Warcraft Armory)
would it worth it to stay mutilate? i have just picked up Bloodfury (245ilvl) and Frostblade Hatchet (232ilvl),
and was debating going combat for a change. from my understanding, its not worth it to gem arp unless
you can reach the hard cap w/out trinket (ie. grimtoll/majolnir rs). would agil stacking in combat HnS be close to
ArP stacking w/out reaching the hard ArP cap?
Pardon the questions, i tried to download a spreadsheet program several days ago, and i gave my comp
a virus instead lol. any helpful response would be most appreciated.

Please bare with me if my question seems simple but I've read a lot and this hasn't been talked about. I'm a long time reader in of need some help. My guild is currently on Anub 25 hard mode, therefore best gear I can get is T9 pieces and T9 pieces are not BIS. I was wondering if the set bonus of 4pc gives more DPS vs. all BIS pieces. i.e. helm of wrath from ony 25 is way better than T9 helm etc etc. Having trouble adding 5% crit on heroic strike in spreadsheet so can't really apply the math there. Thank you for any help.

magegraf recommends 12 spell power/10 haste whereas rawr 23 spell power gems, I know the difference is small but which is better?

Take a quick look at the numbers. Y is 7000-9000, obviously not haste. X is 400-800 and since this hole discussion is about haste lets assume it is just that.
Might not be any labels but it shouldnt take you more than 5seconds looking at the graph to determine what is what.

2T8/2T9 question.
Hey, I failed to get the T8 shoulders, and I doubt I'll be able to get them with my current raid schedule and free time, even the 10 man version.
What would you reccomend is this case for the set? I have all the other 4 pieces, and I have one trophy to buy a T9 item, which I assume would be the head piece, and I'm due to get another trophy later this week.
Here's my armory:
The World of Warcraft Armory.
I also have on me a few other I232 items from Toc 10/25 (non heroic), so if you can think of some offset uppgrades, I can probably get them.

Hey guys.
My guild is having a bit of a Ret paladin shortage currently.
To help offset this, raid leadership has requested I spec BM so the raid gets the 3% damage buff.
I havent been BM spec since the end of TBC.
I'm hoping someone can give me a quick summary of whats changed as a raiding Beastmaster this expansion, to give me a place to start my research, or a link to a good example of a current BM hunters Armoury.

Moonkin Raiding
I was wondering if someone could take a look at my build and see if you had some suggestions on placing talent points somewhere else. I am currently pushing 4.7k-5k DPS in ToC 10 but i know there are boomkins out there doing more.
The World of Warcraft Armory
Thanks

This is not the place to ask such questions. One of the rules in the forum says that you shouldn't beg for handholding. Be specific or let it be. Or read a guide here.

Hi there. I came back after 2 months of playing holy priest, and things changed a lot.
Is it me, or I find very hard to be top healer against druid or paladin at the moment?
I remember times, when priest totaly owned druid and paladin in Ulduar, but now I am hardly being top healer in Ulduar as well, not only ToC.. In ToC I don't have chance..
Whats the problem? Nerf, different style of bosses...? ... Only boss I can be kinda competitive is Lord Jaraxxus,..
Are there any tips for new style of healing?
I am mostly healing with POM, circle of healing and renew(empowered renew; on raid etc),..
Thanks a lot.

Talents
Hey I have been here alot last few years,
but atm I cannot see u have any propper specs linked.
Im an endgame raiding shaman,
and the only way i can go oom is by timing sham rage wrong.
I dont have a talent in neither improved ss or Shamanistic Focus,
I Don't know how u can explain the waste of talent points in those talents, also elemental focus is a waste.
so i post some specs here for raiding.
For T9
If another shaman have Enhancing Totems
If u want enhancing totems
For T8
With max magma damage
I have not found any circumstances in wotlk for using any talents in any mana regain/saving talents
Please give me some feed backs

My question to you is, does it really matter?
It sounds like you're doing what you should be doing anyway, so my advice would be stop focusing too much on HPS and healing meters. Even though I will admit it's fun to "win" them, it shouldn't be your focus.

Fury help/suggestions
Hello everyone, long time reader first time poster. I know this has been talked about in many different forums and I risk being ridiculed for my questions, however Im in need of some serious help. First off, I have been an Arms warrior my entire WoW career and enjoy it very much. However, our guild is starting on TOC Hardmodes and are almost done with all Ulduar Hardmodes at the moment. Our GM has asked me to try TG Fury and I have happily switched to give it a shot. My gear at the moment is mostly a mix of Ulduar 25/10 and TOC 25/10 with two T9 pieces.
After reading alot of what is out there with the current Fury rotation, it seems that the general idea is to BT>WW>HS(rage dump 50+) and Slam when proc'd. Cleave over HS when facing multiple mobs and spam Execute at 20% when finishing off a boss. The problem Im having is that my dps varies, and I realize that it depends on the encounter, but its beginning to frustrate me a bit. Im ranging anywhere from 3.8k -5.0k dps. Many other Fury warriors with equivelant gear seem to be pumping out 6.5-7.5 dps and I really would like to be in that range. If there is anyone out there who can check out my gear and my spec it would be greatly appreciated. Any and all suggestions will be very helpful. Also a solid rotation/priorty example would be helpful as well.
Once again I know this has been talked in general before and im sorry if im asking for old info to be rehashed but if anyone has the time to check me out, it would be great. Im unable to link armory for some reason but my toons name is GAVINDWELF and Im located on DUSKWOOD and my guild is ZION (Alliance side).
Thank you again for taking the time to help out. I hope to hear from you folks soon.
Gavin

Am not sure if the link for the 0_56_15 build is working for me. Am trying to decide what am gonna spec into after 3.3, but when I check the link for 0_56_15 it has no points in Demonic Empowerment even though it mentions Demonic Empowerment in the list of actions. Not sure if am doing something wrong, but could someone direct me to the build that is used to test the 0_56_15 build?

Ok understood on the hit and expertise.. now the Arp, so are you saying just use the Arp from the gear/stance only and not gem For it? According to Rawr I have 107.24% with procs.. (55.7% rating & 16% arms stance) I just want to know that I'm understanding it.
As for the 55-8-8 Spec, could you elaborate please?
Thank you
