Here is a link to my Armory. It is shown as my Affliction spec, but I raid with 03/13/55 spec. I know it has been written that Life Tap glyph is better than Immolate glyph, is this always the case, what if your Spell Damage is high and your Spirit is low, where is the sweet spot?
Any suggestions would help. This is the best gear I have on hand. Going to pick up the Triumph Shoulders tonight to complet 2pc9 set. Have a ton of other emblems, but do not see an upgrade to purchase besides Triumph gear.
If you want to know the difference in dps between the Life Tap & Immolate glyph you will have to use the spreadsheet or simcraft for your own gear set, afaik there is no sweet spot. What I can tell you for sure is that with your 586 spirit Life Tap is alot better then Immolate, as simcraft will tell you on your character aswell.
From checking your gear you could switch your sp/hit gem for a sp/haste gem, you need 288hit to reach 11% and you have 298. Your Dalaran ring could be replaced by the Onyxia quest ring (even at 10m you get the ilevel 245 ring)
Weapon swapping also increases the value of white hit and the value of expertise. In BiS gear for combat with weapon swapping, expertise and white hit capping becomes a valid strategy. However, for mutilate expertise is still below agility and attack power, even after you properly simulate the dps loss from potential cycle instability. It should be noted, that with ruptureless cycles, the probablity of an actual cycle disruption is much lower, and the value of expertise due to cycle stability reasons is lower.
Hi, I'm new to this forum.
I have some questions about weapon swapping as I see it being mentioned in many threads, but I'm not sure what it means and how it works.
Can anyone enlighten me about weapon swapping? i.e why weapon swap, when to weapon swap, which poisons are used, is there a macro available to aid weapon swapping etc.
Tell me please, what best talent - Vigor or Fleet Footed in Mut. rupturless cycle, i'm testing now vigor with glyph and want to know your opinion about that
+20 energy or mobility just matter of taste or not?
Got a quick question, sorry if its already been covered.
Cookie cutter Evis only spec seems to be dropping the 2 points from Blood Splatter, and 1 from Ruthlessness for 3/3 in Imp Evis. For me this seems a bit strange since the Evis cycle is based on late SnD refreshes, so the drop of 20% of an extra CP after a finisher would surely be significant. After speadsheeting this for 3/3 Ruthlessness and 4/5 Lethality, the DPS loss was minimal (2dps), and surely that extra CP generation would add alot more value to cycle stability. Am I missing something more important here?
Just have a prety simple question, in 10m heroic toc while on anub i cant seem to put out more than 5.5k is this bad? considering ther is no ele shaman/boomkin/ in our group? I use same rotation everyone else does i and i just cant seem to push anymore out of it. The World of Warcraft Armory btw i also could sub in fetish of the volatile power for the sundial but it just dosnt seem to help my dps out, also wondering if i have way to much hit/ not enough spirit
There has not been any need to change tracking modes - unless you need to see the icons on the mini-map - for several patches now (probably all the way back to 3.1). If you the have points in Improved Tracking, you will gain benefit from them as long as you are tracking something trackable regardless of what that may be: beasts, dragonkin, elementals, giants, humanoids, undead
Hi I have a question. I needed to clear somthing up. What stats are most important for feral tanking from 1 to 5? I had an argument with a DK the other day about it and he has never rolled a druid But says strength means nothing to feral tanking and i have to highly disagree with him on that. But wanted to double check what are the important stats for feral tanking i thought they where
1. strength
2. Stam
3. Dodge
4. agility
Now if i'm wrong please let me know
Thanks Unsure

I don't quite know where to begin on this, but depending on the fight your top stats would be Stam, Agil, Armor, Dodge. Strength does almost nothing for you, except an increase in threat generation and a small amount in the amount SD absorbs. If Str was so important to tanking, wouldn't you see it on our gear?
There are many great introductory guides out there for tanking, I would highly recommend you read one as you seem to have little idea how feral tanking works.
I just powerleveled LW this past weekend to pick up the Fur Lining in addition to the above enchants. I was sitting at around 320 NR last night (with Mixology/resistance flask) and it was a noticable difference compared to last week with only 130 NR.
ya i dropped alchy for LW, so i'm JC/LW now, it made the difference last night that we needed for our 1st anub 25 man heroic kill.
@laurapfaff Gem/chant for stam/agi never dodge or str figure out how much stam u need for the level on instances you're running and keep that number, after that agi is a good rule of thumb
Hey, I had a level 66 Hunter for a while but I got bored of him and levelled another character. This was pre-3.2 and now I wanna make this Hunter go the last mile and hit 80. My spec would be outdated so has anyone got a good BM levelling spec? I have a Devilsaur as a pet as well.
At level 66, I'd suggest something like this build, ditch the devilsaur and use a bear with this build as a pet. The focus of both builds is pet survivability which lets you multi-pull, solo elites above your level and generally have the pet do all the work for you. Finish building out the BM tree as you level up and then swap to something else at 80.
Alternately, go 51pts into BM and use this spec for your bear - there's a floating point that can go into Silverback or Wild Hunt. Build out the MM tree till you can get to GttF as you level and fill in Wild Hunt and Silverback as your pet does.
I have 4/5 t8.5 pieces and I love its bonus of each tick of deadly poison and rupture can be critical.
When I saw the t9 bonuses I got bit disappointed, are they really efficient? What's the chance of rupture procs on energy costs?
I'm asking that because when I am at a Onyxia fight, for example, during the whelps incoming I can spam FoK really aggressive because there are so many mobs being hit by the first tick of deadly that my energy goes full for all the whelp time, almost better than adrenaline rush making me hit 13k dps (aoe of course, and BTW I am assassination).
What is the minimum gear I should have before starting Heroics? I have just reached 80 and finding it hard to locate decent gear to do anything. Everytime I get into a raid they tell me my gear isnt good enuff lol so just wondering what the minimum rated gear I should have before I can get into these?
[EDIT] Im going for a Frost tank/Unholy DPS setup, But mainly want to use this toon as a dedicated Tank.

A tank with 18k health can tank heroics without problems. Just make sure you are hitcapped, and in a short period of time your gear will increase.
However, we are pretty late in the expansion, and people are getting used to tanks having 35k+ health unbuffed, and expect tanks for heroics to have that much stamina.
I don't know your tank equio because you seem to have your off-equip equipped in the armory, but there are several options for you:
a) Run heroics as DPS to get better tank gear
b) Find a healer that is willing to run with you through a couple of heroics
c) Get yourself gear from the Argent tournament. The weapon for 25 argent tournament emblems is a good starting weapon.
d) Buy item level 200 epic tank gear from the auction house. Most of the time it is cheaper to buy the mats and search for someone willing to
Excel 1997/2003 Compatible
Unfortunately due to certain restrictions of 1997/2003, I will have to reduce some of the functionality manually, which will takes a good deal of time. I will have to find some time to do it.
Any idea on when you will have this out? Kinda lost without this =(. Rawr sucks!
I changed to full keybind play a monthe ago, every now and then i'm finetunning some abilities witch are comfortable on other positions. This needs some focus still.
i was wondering if anyone could tell me how his heal setup is cause i got healbot / grid / grid 2 / xpearl and i feel like using only grid / grid 2 but my hots wont show up so basicly what i want is can anyone give me a good guide for a good grid setup cause i dont know how to do it ive tryed before im a druid btw
