So as a previous poster had mentioned about a arms dps summary. Would anyone be willing to write one im sure it would help a lot of the people on the forums

It depends.

How long ago did TfB proc?

• If TfB has >3s left on the proc then: Execute > OP > MS (Reason: Sudden Death can proc in between Execute and Overpower, causing another Execute to be available. Resulting in a rotation closer to: Execute > OP > Execute > MS. Whereas, if you started with Overpower, and Sudden Death proc'd at the same time as before, it would overwrite the old Sudden Death proc, and your rotation would be: OP > Execute > Mortal Strike.)
  
• If TfB has <3s left on the proc then: OP > Execute > OP > MS (Reason: TfB is about to be overwritten, so you want to utilize your OP ability, then when TfB procs again, it won't overwrite the previous one. Allowing you to utilize 2 OPs, whereas if you Execute'd first, your TfB would overwrite and you would only get Execute > OP > MS.)

Like another user said, when under no haste effects. In addition, I'd utilize it directly after an Overpower, and if possible execute. After that stipulation, I'd also use it when ~25 rage, as to avoid a situation where you end up over 100 rage for 5 or 6 seconds. Just me.

I was reading the 3.2 patch notes and am a little curious on how the new paladin changes are going to pan out, so I copied a couple of cookie-cutter characters & copied my main. I went to download the PTR client and after it was all done I'm left with a folder with no executable file inside.

I hope I don't sound stupid but I've never tried the PTR's before so I'm having a little bit of trouble getting it up and running. Where should I download it? It's in the same folder as my WoW but should it be IN my WoW folder? If anyone has a clue as to what I did wrong here I would greatly appreciate the help. Thanks.

Hi guys, new to the forums and i have had a fury warrior questin burning that i cant seem to find the answer to. My character's name is Jimmae on Thrall, link to armory The World of Warcraft ArmoryNow, according to landsoul's spreadsheet, i should be able to do 4300, fully raid buffed with pot and food, i only do about 2500. Now i know for my gear thats really wrong, and my rotation is not the source, or so i think, i follow the normal rotation, WW>BT>HS unless Slam procs in which case use slam, and only use HS when i have more then 50 rage. NOw my gear, jawbone doesnt have berserker, and my gear has +14 rather than +16 str gems, should I change this to serker and +16 str gems. Also, i have Greatness card, would it be worth the 4k for the dps gain, i dont really know how much i would get out of it and am open to opinions because im not low on money and dont need the 4k gold bad. My own conclusion, is that it has to be my computer, that being the case if you guys need me to link what my computer has part wise, i will do so to the best of my ability, thank you for your help on figuring out why my dps is terribad.

PS: Just FYI, my standard 25 man raid i run at about 2 or 3 fps tops with like 150 latency. In 10s same latency with about 10 fps.

PSS: FYI i can do almost the amount i can do raid buffed on the heroic training dummy in TB i do about 2200 with just battleshout up.

i was thinking about this spec.
in the spec heartstrike could be left out for any other 1 point talent that you would wish to have, as if Bloodstrike would outperform Heartstrike, its no real use speccing it.

because of the bloodstrike buff the bloodstrike glyph will get mandatory and with the change to both DRW and UB i think UB will be outperforming DRW. thats why i choose those glyphs.
but ofc nothing can be certain at this point. lets wait for the first test results

I'm still not sure why you'd put points into Imp UP. The DPS would be higher sitting in BP, and Imp UP doesn't affect rune CD when outside of UP (just run speeds).

This seems like a higher DPS version of the same spec. I changed Glyph of Disease to UB and moved Imp UP to 2/3 Blood worms.

Is anyone else having a problem trying to figure out how to run the PTR?

ehh, I'm not sure I would give up Soul Leech for a bigger cookie and Soul Link. Spec into improved cookies seems like wasted points.

I hope this is the appropriate place to do so but I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has posted questions, comments, and answers in this folder. I leveled my hunter from 1-80 with a typical PVE beast master build, but I knew once I hit 80 things would be different. This also being my first toon in WOW I wanted to make sure that I could get the best possible DPS from my toon, cause people would have enough reasons to laugh at me and my severe noobishness in the raiding/heroics world that is endgame so I thought I had to have something going for me.

My best memory so far has to be my first 10 man Naxx run. I had only a couple epic pieces and still had "green trinkets" and was running with a group whose gear was much, much better than mine. When we got to Thaddius and were divvying up the DPS for the 2 mini bosses, someone posted Recount and I had the second highest DPS! The noob huntard!

Anyway this site helped me so much and it's nice that so many share their knowledge so all who take the time to research can benefit. Thanks a bunch hunters!!!

I haven't found any sort of "direction" to where to start right after hitting 80. I am at the min hit cap with 100 hit rating...but I don't know what gear to look for...where to get it, etc.

I thought this thread would have it but I don't see it. Any info would be nice. thank you
