Mmkay, as a hunter I have a BIG problem with my pet. He's about as useful as arcane shot when you're specced survival. Right now he's pulling about 150 dps which kind of makes me "forget" to take him out. What could I do to possibly make him do a bit more?

Aside from that, you're 114 Hit Rating over the cap and still have an Icewalker enchant and [Rigid Autumn's Glow] in your gloves. Replacing the trinket would put you at 294, and then the boot enchant with +16 Agility would put you at 282, and then the glove gem to a [Delicate Scarlet Ruby] would finish you off at 266 (just 3 hit rating over the cap). I also saw that you have a [Sun Scope] which is inferior in DPS compared to [Heartseeker Scope]. As for your pet, you should be using your wolf HERCULES, but move one point out of Bloodthirsty and into Wild Hunt. Make sure Bite, Furious Howl, and Rabid are on Auto Cast and turn Call of the Wild off. Make a macro such as: (select "?" icon)__________________ #showtooltip Call of the Wild /cast Call of the Wild /cast Rapid Fire _______________________________ Drop 1 point in Hunting Party for the 5th point in Master Tactician. If you don't raid with any other Survival Hunters, Retribution Paladins, Shadow Priests, Destruction Warlocks, or possibly Frost Mages you should keep 2/3 Hunting Party. However that's usually pretty unlikely in 25 so I would reccomend a spec like one of the following: This 1/18/52 build (if there is more than 1 hunter raiding with you and none of them have 3 points in Imp Hunter's Mark) This 5/15/51 build (if you prefer the versatility of an extra instant [Aimed Shot instead of Multishot] in movement situations) This 6/14/51 build (if you don't need to provide replenishment and don't have any Viper uptime or mana problems) For the builds with 5 points in Imp Aspect of the Hawk I'd recommend using: [Glyph of Serpent Sting] [Glyph of Steady Shot] [Glyph of Kill Shot] (same minor glyphs that you currently have) For the builds with 1 or 2 points in Imp Aspect of the Hawk I'd recommend using: [Glyph of Serpent Sting] [Glyph of the Hawk] [Glyph of Kill Shot] (same minor glyphs that you currently have) Glyphs and spec are very dependent of your personal preference and gear though, so I'd suggest that you'd check out: Shandara's Microsoft Excel DPS Spreadsheet (if you have access to Excel) Zeherah's Web-based DPS Analyzer (if you're looking for a quicker alternative) |

Hey everybody!
I did some testings with the following speccs: Blood and UH Presence: 10 / 54 / 7 Blood Presence: 14 / 50 / 7 I used two 2.6 Speed Weapons (Serilas, Blood Blade of Invar One-Arm & Vulmir, the Northern Tempest) I put Serilas into my MH because of the style, but it doesn't matter as both weapons have the same speed, dps and min/max dmg. As enchants I used RotfC on MH and Razorice on OH! Rotation: There is no real rotation as you can't tell your Runepower / Miss / Dodge / Whatever to happen. Have your Disease up all the time or < 0.1 after running out. My stats look like this: (YES, only 3/5 T8 as I am a tank, so no 20% more Obliterate dmg set bonus)  DISCLAIMER: I DON'T HAVE ULDUAR 25 EQUIP AS I AM A TANK IN ULDUAR 25! MOST OF MY DPS EQUIP IS OUT OF 10 MAN ULDUAR! THE DUMMY WAS ALWAYS UNDER 35% WHICH SHOULD RESOLVE MY EQUIPMENT PROBLEM!?!? So I did three tests. 10/54/7 with BP & UP and 14/50/7 with BP 10/54/7 At first I want to say that 10/54/7 is the specc for AoE DPS as you have HB! BP should be used on non moving encounters with less to none adds. With BP I ignored HB Proccs, as they would destroy my rotation and they do less dmg then all other styles! UP should be used on moving heavy encounters with some adds. With UP hold your Runes on CD and use as many proccs as you can, while FS > HB! 14/50/7 Single Target Max DPS Specc (Could use one point in UA instead of crit, as prefered!), RP fits in PERFECTLY! UP not needed as you don't have HB and Runepower problems TESTS: (Screenshots) First: 10/54/7 using BP Second: 10/54/7 using UP Third: 14/50/7 using BP  _ _ So that's it!
