Yes ive read through all the pages and stuff but im still confused on gemming arp. i currently now have 66% arp with mace and battle factored in would it be beneficial now to start gemming str instead of arp or is arp still better to gem.

Throwing some values together, and accounting for the fact that haste buffs multiply rather than add, Berserking:Blood Fury is more 2:1 rather than the 4:3 ratio you're suggesting. That said, we're talking ~30 dps difference here, and this isn't taking into account buff conjunction for BF, nor reducing Berserkings figures based on the 50% haste cap for FS/LvB, so it's not impossible that the figures are what you're suggesting.

In the long run, I think it's pretty much pointless to talk/discuss/argue about which racial bonus is better, partially because it's a very very minor difference, partially because the Draenei hit aura beats both hands down, and partially because, no matter how you try, I will never ever roll a troll if I can avoid it.

Hello all i need help. I am looking for the best spec for fury/cleaving. I am not 80 yet but have half a lvl to hit it. I know i need better gear but i am just looking for the talent spec. I know the one i have at 79. If i get a group of 5 monster i can get about 1.1k dps. I know gear is most of it but maybe my spec is not perfect. His name is Marglar on Arygus server. thank you all in advance for the help. Plus i am also looking for the best tanking spec/dps also. if t here is one out there... thanks all and have fun.

Just how good is the t7.5 4 piece? I have the leggings..but as you can see I also have the protohide leggings which are really fkin good. as a mut rogue, the 4 piece boils down to 3 energy off of mutilate..in all essences..how fucking good is that? just wanted some more opinions.

If this has already been answered somewhere then i appoligize. I looked all over and could not find it. I am a SV hunter and I have noticed that Steady Shot appears to be doing close to the same damage as my auto shot. I have the SS glyph and do my best to keep Serpent Sting up for the extra damage. I am curious if anyone else has noticed this as well? if this is the case then i would love to re-glyph that SS glyph and even take steady out of my rotation altogether.

Is it ever more beneficial to gem expertise below the cap? All the aep i've seen rate it lower than AP/Agility gems, so I haven't been. Currently have 198 expertise

Gark: It does not matter which of Steady and Auto hit harder (for the record, my Auto Shots hit significantly harder than Steadies), since they are not linked anymore, haven't been since 3.0. Steady Shot is a filler shot, it is only used when all your other shots are on cooldown and you can't use any higher damage shot. Since Auto Shot is not affected by SS, nothing is gained by leaving SS out. On the contrary, you will loose dps, since you aren't using any shot at all there in place of SS.

As to the glyphing, a lot of SV hunters are using Glyph of Serpent Sting instead of Glyph of Steady Shot. It is quite convinient to have longer duration on SrS, and Steady is the shot to be skipped when moving, so in real raid situtation Steady's (and SS glyph's) value is often less than what the spreadsheet assumes.

What is the current best speed for weapons for mutilate? One person in my guild insists that it is slow-slow, but myself and another rogue feel that slow mainhand-fast offhand is better. I just wanted to get some expert opinions on the matter.

Steady Shot doesn't interfere or disrupt auto-shot in any way anymore, so removing it from your rotation would be a large dps loss for literally no gain. It seems like you're operating under the assumption that Steady Shot replaces or delays auto-shot, but that isn't the case. Also, in my current gear Glyph of Steady Shot is actually the highest dps glyph for my survival spec. It beats out Glyph of Kill Shot, Explosive Shot, Serpent Sting, etc.

TYVM for the replies you are both absolutley correct! I feel like kind of a boob now. And TY for the info about the SS Glyph. I have been thinking about replacing it with the serpent Sting Glyph but will do my own research on some defensleless target dummy's.

how much haste should I look for before I start gimping myself?
I have 490 haste and I am about 2000 dps behind our current best mage in the guild, who told me I need more crit.

Those 2 fights are probably the worst to compare dps due to the high dps modifiers.

i.e. shadow crashes on vezax and the various buffs on hodir, including your position relative to the fire, the icicles or the aoe frost
