After leveling my Death Knight to 66 (I know...), and thoroughly enjoying my time spent with the class.. I began reading forums (I also know...) and it appears that 3.2 will severly limit the class' ability to effectively tank.
It does appear that the Frost tree is getting big nerfs, and that doesn't really bother me. I rolled a DK because I've had every other class past 60 and it was something "new" for me.
My concern isn't really with the effort required to tank, as it is the efficency of our tanking abilities. Will Death Knights still be asked to tank in 25-man/10-man raids? Or will we simply be put in the backseat and replaced with Warriors, Paladins, and Druids?
Having played a Warrior for most of my WoW days, I'm used to taking the back seat, and once again, it doesn't really bother me, just curious if it will happen?
In the same sense, if we are not asked to tank, will we be needed for our DPS or will we just be medicore at tanking and dealing damage in instances?
P.s. Sorry for any mis-spelled word, my work PC does not have spell-check.
