Ok, i have a mayeb stupid question but atm im sittin at 461 hit rating cause i have grim toll and pyrite infuser equiped plsu some other hit i got with gear, recenlty ive been debating on if i should change the pyrite infuser for the mirror of truth trinket so i can get rid of hit and change it for more crit even if the porc geives me less ap so i if u guys coudl tell me if it would be owrth getin the extra cirt for the loose of ap on the proc since hit rating wont help me anymore
As to the spec, different models and different spreadsheets have given different numbers w/r/t 7/51/13 vs. 15/51/5.
Personally, I've opted for the former, because if the DPS is close enough to cause dispute, it won't be noticeable in the flurry of gear changes happening at the moment, and being able to spec Camo and Dirty Tricks in a raid build is quite nice.
I am glad you posted this I will try it tonight as to where I place what poison and let you know thanks.
Just thought I would toss my 2 cents in with a couple of relatively short dummy tests. I used a 2/51/18 spec for two tests with awareness and vh sigil. Each test didn't include use of ghoul or army, but did use ERW. The rotations are fairly easy to keep going as FF > BP > OB > BS > FS and dumping a rime proc whenever it comes up. The two screenshots are provided below and the dummy was above the merciless combat HP range the whole time (IE: I didn't benefit from the talent at all) the only other debuffs being applied to the dummy was a moonkin so, +13% magic dmg and +3% hit to spells. The awareness sigil seemed to come out slightly lower than VH sigil but both are very close to each other.
In regards to 2h vs dual wield, I seemed to do much better damage to the dummy as dual wield but I am unsure about scaling issues (the moonkin again was the other person attacking the dummy at the time). At the very least dual wield spec seems to be perfectly viable as a legit damage spec come next patch... barring any major changes. The weapons I was using were 2x Serilas, Blood Blade of Invar One-Arm with FC on the main hand and RI on the offhand. I was using 4pc tier 8.5. My other stats are seen in the screenshots.
Yes I am aware dummy dps != raid dps, but given the ptr environment its the best real world tests I can do really. Maybe I can grab a few friends and wail on the patchwerk if they ever implement him =/ One of my questions though is why necrosis only proc'd on about 86% of my melee swings.... like I said the dummy had plenty of health for it to hit for the full amount every time....
hi i was just wondering if some of you could spot some changes in my talents/ gear which would improve my dps. my dps is ok but i want it to be more
here is my profile The World of Warcraft Armory epic name i know
p.s. my neck on the armoury is now freyas neck from flame lethavian it doenst show, i replaced my current one as i have the hit cap and the new neck gives me much needed haste which i need.
i was wondering wether my crit is high enough as i get annyoed when i dont proc eclipse. im using the wrath to proc eclipse and then starfire cycle.
im managed to pull allot of dps on patchwork but in uldar were there is allot more movement required on several bosses my dps seems to be lacking, i just want to know if my new haste increase will increase my dps allot more
ok can someone help me with a macro for blood rotation? like 1 button spamable because i dont care if the dps will be lower just want to make a macro woth this rotation IT-PS-HS-HS-DS -DUMP- DS-HS-HS-HS-HS -Dump- thx
Thanks for the great thread guys always helpfull, well I know all the gearing and gemming stats and theories but since my feral is my alt now , switched to my elemental for raid viability a few months ago, I don't get top loot to test my question. I was wondering if after hitting arp soft cap and being oer 50% crit would equipting more strength\arp items like rings maces or necklesses would be best rather than agility ? I know it all changed since 3.1 I realize all that but won't more ap be best with all that armore expossed ? Sorry if it sounds noobish its a thought that came to me keep in mind keeping crit high still. And won't that scale better since feral don't scal that well ?Thanks guys for all the work
Ya that's what I was looking for thank you for that quick reply, so what I'm understanding is that crit will have dr but that's still not reason enough to go for higher empact hits , going for str or ap , no matter how high u get on crit or arp ? Again sorry for in my mind noobish question but I'm talking an old friend that just came back to wow to regem and I want to be able to give reason behind what I tell her . Thanks a bunch
I have a few questions about the new agility change in 3.2 , has anyone tested it yet on ptr ? If so how much less avoidace will it total ? I'm thinking the higher gear u have the less affect it would have ? And will this change the value of def raiting for bears ? If I'm rightn hope I am, isn't at 60% dodge the time to stary stacking it ? And if so how would that change ?
Thanks a bunch guys
I know boss dummy data isn't the perfect indicator of actual raid damage but it is what i had time for. I am getting between 4250 and 4350 dps over 3 minute intervals using no buffs other than horn of winter. has anyone done similar tests that can post some data to compare with? please specify where you put your talent points and your base stats.
hay guys we have been working on GV HM for a few days now when we get to frustrated with fraya hm my normal raid set up is 1 pally heal 2 priest 1 disk 1 holy (they switch depending on what we need at the time) 1 resto shammy and my a resto druid we also have a Heep of other people that can spek helas if we need.
For general HM our all our healers stand on general im on OOC duity so when i get a clear cast i use it on the tank as for healing we have no issues what so ever we found tat buy all of our healers being on general it alows for less mistakes with shadow crashes and alows us healers to focus on the 1 person in the raid that takes dmg our tank.
Tbh this fight is just way to easy if you are smart abotu your mana the only hard thig is when your dps dont lern to gtfo out of the group with MOTF fast enough that's whats killing us atm (sadface).
In all hnesty if your healers are ooming on this fight they are spaming way to much and overhealing witch is a bigg no no or as it is for my guild the dps are retarted. In a ideal kill you should have next to no one take dmg untill the animus and even then not for very long (again as long as your dps know how to play)
Also i have a question for you guys out there How do you guys find healign on Fraya HM personally i find it a little difficult because 90% of the dmg that the raid takes is all burst and druids are not very good with healing up people to full in a instant the way that priests and shammys can. I find that this fight for me is way more intense then being the only raid healer for Council HM. Is there any strat that you guys use as in healing rotations or prefered hots that sem to top your raid up faster thene the RJ/WG spam and then go nuts with nourish/s/w and life bloom ???
