can someone plz make a BiS Itemlist for just 264 ilvl like ICC 25er and ICC 10er Hero?
i tryed to use Rawr but there arnt all items and my english are not realy well.
DP can be incredibly irritating on some fights. Leady Deathwhisper being one where my pet was out of Line of Sight all the time being behind her and me at the bottom of the stairs. (Similair situation sometimes on Saurfang too, especially when trying to stay x range from other players and in range for DP).
Some fights where you would use LT during movement phases are a lot harder than with DP. Moving from fires on Icehowl, Legion Flame debuff on Jaraxxus, any add kiting you may have to do on Saurfang you are usually running away from the boss, thus out of range of your pet.
And if you do have a phase like this and you DP twice fast just to top yourself up, your pet goes oom.
Not that you cant lifetap of course, but it's less "bang for your buck".
Your felhunter will get it's mana quick enough that double DP is okay. The cost of it's Shadow Bite is regenerated in less than 1 second, so it really doesn't matter. :|
I use a macro:
#showtooltip Dark Pact
/cast [nomodifier] Dark Pact
/cast [modifier=shift] Life Tap
And you can always recall your pet for 1-2 dark pacts and back on boss. In Saurfang25 I had no problem standing frontline to boss and dark pacting, and in Lady there's enough time when im topped on hp without Lady targetting me for occasional life taps.
Edit: Also I forgot to mention, the more mana your pet has, the more mana you gain from Dark Pact. Remember to get bok/int on ur pets!! :>
Hello, right now I'm in a position where I'm being asked by a healer class officer to swap out my Talisman of Resurgence for my old Abyssal Rune.
My current trinkets are the non-heroic version of Muradin's Spyglass and the Talisman of Resurgence.
I've tried using the Abyssal Rune again but I've found that I can't last the last few seconds need to pop another gem and arcane torrent. My CDs on burst were disorganized as well.
Should I spend more time on it or is Rawr right in telling me to keep my current set of trinkets?
Thanks for any help in advance. I was away from the game all summer and most of the fall, and I'm just trying to find out what has changed. My 1st questions is the LT glyph, should I still use it? 2nd, If I am using the LT glyph, what should my rotation be? Also, I have noticed many destro locks using corruption on boss fights and not sure if it really is a good idea. I understand that if your moving a lot, it makes sense to toss one on the boss, better than nothing. Also, on the Heroic dummy I was pulling more DPS with the spellstone over the firestone and that confused me. Since I've been back there have been so many rotation suggestions and I am using the following:
LT(during the pull), Trink, Immo, CB, Conflag, Incin, Incin, Incin, and repeat with conflage and CB. Occasionally hit the LT to keep the buff up.
Aldriana, I want to thank you for all the hard work you have put into the new mut spreadsheet, but I'm stuck on something due to the Whisphering Fanged Skull not being in there. I have the War Token, but I don't know whether to use the Mark of Supremacy, DMC:G, or the Whisphering Fanged Skull as my 2nd trinket. Ideas anyone?
I've implemented the Whispering Fanged Skull and this is what I get for my gear levels (obviously stats will change ep values for you, but this will at least give you an idea of where they sit):
HWT = 625
DV (heroic) = 602
WFS = 574
DV = 533
I'd be hard pressed to see how those other trinkets came close to WFS in any normal circumstance.

I assumed he left it out due to its effect on the crit cap. Which is probably why I thought the Mark of Supremacy might be better. I guess I didn't think about it long enough.
I want to say sorry ahead of time if this has been brought up.......... I just got a 2nd Heartpierce as im the only Mut rogue in my guild and just took it for free so it didnt get DE. Is there any situation where I would want to Duel these? I know on boss fights it would be a huge dps loss over a 1.4 but can this proc even stack? If Im pvping or even using it trash would it be worth it or is it just a waste of time? Thanks in advance
If it can duel proc seems to me it might be a nice FOK/trash dagger

Tell your healing class officer to mind his own business. Talisman of Resurgence is an upgrade from Abyssal Rune in almost every situation. It all depends on what rawr says. For me, Talisman is a 65 dps upgrade from Abyssal. Tell him to worry about his healers and let the mages figure out what gear is best for them. The caveat is if you are an engy, it may be better to go with Abyssal since you can't have 2 use procs at the same time.
I have just hit 80 a couple of days ago and was trying out Arcane. I've a few question of doubts, and would be please for them to be answered!
I'm pretty much at around 18k mana self buff with AI. I seen videos of basic rotation such as AB spam until Mbar proc, thing is when I'm down on luck, Mbar just wouldn't want to proc, therefore, my mana is literally drain to half lol.
What is an ideal mana-friendly rotation for a fresh 80 mage?
SO i just got nibelung but i currently have the 258 anub staff ahould i use it or the anub staff??
I prefer Suffering's End over Nibelung because it has spirit + crit, the procrate on nibelung is only 1%, I rarely ever have a val'kyr up on my mage (who has it).
EDIT: Meant Sufferance the staff, not the mace ^_^
One the of key challenges of playing Arcane well is being able to estimate when you can afford spamming AB beyond the fourth to fish for Missile Barrage proc, and when you have to clear the stacks to save mana. If you are running low on mana, just cast Arcane Missiles to clear the AB stacks. If you don't want to think about it, you could AM after 4 AB stacks regardless of whether MB has procced, but it is definitely not optimal playstyle even for poorly geared Arcane mages.
I've just completed the Darkmoon Card: Greatness set. I'm a pretty casual player these days, so I'll mainly be doing heroics and 10 mans with a few old friends from the hardcore days. I intend on playing holy.
Currently using a Spirit world glass and a talisman of resurgence.

Black Magic only procs on spells, and poisons are no longer considered spells as of a few patches ago.

i have a question, Is the arcane barrage important? I have any problems with my mana in raid (31k full buff) I spam AB and use AM when MB proc. I prefer take 3 points in incanter's absorption because there are many damages on the raid in many fight and the discipline priest (with legendary mass) make some shields and that increase my spell. Is it a good solution?
maybe my trinket talisman of resurgence help me for my mana, en if i change it i must use arcane barrage in my cycle
