I am scouting for a new eu-horde guild at the moment. Your recruitment post is very appealing. Kudos for the amount of details in there. Before I put any effort into writing a thorough application, however, I have a few questions to ask about the details you have provided in your post. Please answer them here because other attempts at getting the information have failed for me.

Firstly, how far are you with Alone in the Darkness attempts? Accompilishing this kill is the final way for guilds to acquire a point-based-rank score on wowprogress before patch 3.2 and I would love to know how your guild is doing before I apply. I have tried asking some of your members in whisper by creating a level 1 character, but they all seem to have addons that block low levels from talking to them (anti-spam/anti-gold-selling I guess). Have you managed to enter phase 3 yet? Are you close to a kill?

Secondly. have you farmed Algalon 25-man since your first kill? A closer look at wowprogress reveals that it was this kill that granted you the decent world ranking. The world of logs parses I found for your guild (Magheridon-Operation Eskimo) indicate 12 algalon heroic attempts but no actual kill on the 29th and 27th of july (these dates span two different raid resets). I found these here World of Logs - Real Time Raid Analysis. Are there kill reports elsewhere or did you actually not kill Algalon for a few weeks now? This is a bit unclear to me as a possible applicant. World of logs and your official website its dkp page show your first kill was on the 8th of july but ever since you have not killed Algalon again. Your official dkp seems to be here Operation Eskimo - Magtherido.EU DKP: Raids Listing. Strangely it shows only the first kill algalon entry, but many raids since which suggests it is being kept up to date.

Have you even looked at the available glyphs? Coming here and saying "I'm thinking of using these glyphs, is that reasonable?" at least shows you've put some effort in to finding answers. Same goes for the stats question. You could have found the answer through google in less time than it took to write your post.

Greetings, i have a very simple question, if someone can either help me out with answer, or point me out in the direction where it's discussed it would be awesome.

The dilemma i'm having is with 2 rogue speccs, they are standard ones, 15/51/5 < being the prioritized one, and 18/51/2
where the 18/51/2 one is with 3 in vile poisons boosting poison dmg for 20% while losing 3 points from relentless strikes.

Again, to me poison dmg seams better somehow, so what im asking is, is there any discussion about this i can check for theory - crafting about it? where i could maybe see why it isn't so.

I know questions about gear are really frowned upon, but after reading 90% of the thread, I haven't seen an answer to my question and I really don't want to ask this question on the wow forums as the amount of misinformation passed around that place is ridiculous.

Recently, I acquired 4 pc t8. I have the gloves, head, pants and shoulders. I replaced t7.5 helm and gloves with the respected t8 pieces and am very uncomfortable with the massive haste loss. I went from 520 to 390. Also, this has brought me over the hit cap by a fair margin, which isn't a huge deal to me as we sometimes lack a spriest or boomkin in our 10 man raids. With this gear switch though, I had a 2.5% gain in crit (not including 4pc t8 obviously).

My question is:

Is losing all this haste counteracted by gaining 2.5% crit, another 5% crit on incin from set bonus and about 30sp? Should I use spellstone to get my haste back up to 450 or continue using firestone?

Thanks in advance guys. Sorry again for the gear question, but after lots of testing with both sets I can't figure out which is more beneficial; hoping someone else had this issue already.

Im not sure if i missed it in a previous post b/c i scanned the 20+ pages quickly, but does anyone know if our old badges and emblems will be converted into the new currency? Or will they just become worthless with the changes? Or maybe we will be able to trade them in for the new currency. And will all vendor items that take heroism or valor currently be changed to where you can only buy them with the new currency? Thanks!

All your current emblems remain as if.

Conquest emblems can still be converted to Valor and Valor to Heroism.

You'll buy everything with the same emblems as before, the currency used to purchase eg. T7 is not changed.

You will also get Feats of Strength for your loot X Emblems of Valor and Loot X Emblems of Heroism achievements.

So guys i have a problem. Wednesday i have a very important test-raid. Actually i am using the 2-disease-rotation. Iam very happy with it. But my (maybe future) class-leader suggested that the 6x IT Machine Gun rotation is better then the 2-disease rotation. So i ask you guys, what do you think is the best rotation with my gear?

I mean where are the pros and cons?
