That's fine, but remember a lot more has changed since 3.1 besides just unholy blight. For example, the 15% boost to diseases is significant, especially if you run with an unholy DK. Try the 51/0/20 now under the same conditions as the 50/0/21 and see how they compare.

longtime reader first time poster

switched to 2h unholy for 3.2, used to run dw frost and 32/31 dw pre 3.1

still would like to see some stat weights for dw frost in 3.2

there are only a few 1h options fom 10 or 25 ulduar and getting some hard numbers would help

Guys i rly need some help here. I have tried out the 0/17/54 spec in which i did several heroic runs. At the run i did the best dps i pug out about 3800 dps all over and about 5k burst on the bosses with army gargyole and i felt that i gave it everything i could.

I am rly sure that either my stats are totally wrong, or doing something terrible wrong. In the sims posted i see that oblit gave an avg dmg of almost 7k. When doing it my crits were only about 7k. I dont have any stats to post to confirm this or tried the sim maschine (cus i cant figure it out how to use it =( ).

Have i done something wrong in the spec? do i just need some practice playing this spec ? and could anyone plz tell me the best rotation for me since the one i am using is no good.

I've been looking around and I see comments in the optimal gear thread about stat ratios, but I've just dusted this char off and am going to start raiding on him.

My question is this, I'm currently 18/53/0 and I was wondering if anyone knew of or could post something here that shows the basic stat values to go for before getting something else.

For example:

14-17% hit --> ? % crit --> ? % haste... ect.

Just trying to find goals to aim for. Here is my armory in case anyone needs it. Like I said he's old and I know his gear is bad, just trying to figure out what to work on.

Yea i really hate threads like that one i will open now ..... sry for the next lines ( and SORRY for my english :< )

So my problem is very easy
I cant decide between fb and ffb for the next patch ...... till today i always was a fb mage and very satisfied with this tree

but with the new (lol) "content" there is a real crit boost and so im really struggling if I should change to FFB

so my questen is: is it possible for a ffb mage to make the same dps as a fb mage in the new conent ? (with the advantage of the burst)

mfg. call me noob xD

With the current bug of FFB dot resetting your hotstreak crit counter I doubt FFB can be competitive.
But even before last patch FFB was able to do the same dps as fireball as its even more rng dependant.

If the bug gets fixed and you get 4 piece t8 I guess frostfirebolt could come very close and even surpass fire, but that's still far away.

Four healed hard mode Hodir last night with two priests and a druid on raid, I was on tank. It was no problem with es/rt/lhw

Would have loved to see accurate numbers but that just wasn't captured last night.

What a great patch, i make with my equip in 5er heroics on the boss more than 6k dps , in 3.1 it was 5,xx

Hey guys I am not sure if anyone brought this up but what do you think about the new arp trinket from heroic 5 man trial, I don't have gt and since my feral is my alt now won't be raiding on him much and I realy don't wann go through a 5 hour naxx pug, I do have greatness, was wondering if that trinket is any good ?
