Do you think Frost is still best(fastest) for lvling?

If I were going to level another mage I would probably do it as frost, but the ability to put Living Bomb on multiple targets adds a whole new variable to the equation. Three or four LBs going off back to back will wreak havoc on any mobs in the game. If any survived (doubtful) a quick scorch or one othe short range fire AOE spells will finish them off.

I am going to push to get to 80 this weekend, but really I have been soloing, took a long break, and Iam back to soloing mostly. I just dont want to get caught off guard and look foolish in a 5 man/10man and get put on the dont pug with this guy list lol. Sorry I am a very over analytical type and try and plan ahead for future gear to obtain / craft / grind quests and instances. Similiar to that in the guide where he quotes:

Starting at 71-74, do all Wyrmrest quests at the Wyrmrest temple. Once you've completed these, purchase a Wyrmrest Accord tabard and put it on. (Don't let the first level 80 instance catch you by surprise.) Continue wearing the tabard, and do the daily quest at Wyrmrest temple every day as you level until you reach at least Revered with the Wyrmrest Accord.
At level 74, get yourself a [Tempered Saronite Belt] off the Auction House or have someone make you one. Buy and attach an [Eternal Belt Buckle] to it, and socket it with a [Thick Sun Crystal] for a total of 69 defense rating. Optionally, purchase other pieces in the Tempered Saronite "set" to use as leveling gear or as fallback pieces in case you can't get one of the recommended items before you start raiding or doing heroics.
Head to Zul'Drak as soon as you can. (level 74 or so) and find a partner to do the "Wanted: Ragemane's Flipper" quest at given the first Argent Crusade camp. Get [Crescent of Brooding Fury] for completing the quest.
Still in Zul'Drak, follow quests to Argent Stand (the major Argent Crusade base in the zone). Do quests there to improve your Argent Crusade rep, including the dailies. Continue to do these daily quests every day as you level until you reach Revered with the Argent Crusade.
(There are more quests that give Argent Crusade rep than Wyrmrest rep, so don't take off the Wyrmrest tabard until you're finished with Wyrmrest rep.)
Move back to the west edge of Zul'Drak and do the quests from the Argent Crusade Forward Camp for more AC rep. Also do Stefan's quests from Ebon Watch to acquire [Betrayer's Choker]. Socket it with a [Thick Sun Crystal] for a total of 29 defense rating.
When you reach an appopriate level (76-ish) start keeping your eyes open for a Gundrak group to complete the "For Posterity" quest and get [Solid Platinum Band].

ARP vs STR
hey,
Blood DK here:
Got the advice to stack up on arp but reading the forum that looks like a bad idea. tho i couldn't find a clear answer for the following questions.
Saw that for 3.1 arp is considered worse then str. For 3.2 i get told arp was improved. is it still better to stack up on str instead of arp?
is there a clear arp cap? (currently my arp is at 43%)
thanks.

I came up with some possible changes to the fire tree that may be able to bring single target dps up a notch or two. Looking for some feedback as to whether these are realistic (I think they are).
Playing with Fire Rank 3
Increases all spell damage caused by 3%. Additionally, while Living Bomb is active on your target you gain 3% haste.
Combustion
Instant 3 min cooldown
When activated, your Fire spells' critical strike chance is increased by 20% for 20 seconds.
Improved Scorch Rank 3
Increases your chance to critically hit with Scorch, Fireball and Frostfire Bolt by an additional 3% and your damaging Scorch spells have a 100% chance to cause your target to be vulnerable to spell damage, increasing spell critical strike chance against that target by 5% and lasts 30 sec. Additionally, while your target is affected by Living Bomb, your scorch spell deals 30% more damage.
I would love the fire tree to be more involved with its 51 pt talent. If HS from LB ticks isnt viable, then a buff to scorch, combustion and some effect other than taking 3% more dmg from playing with fire would make us less dependent on Hot streak to increase our single target dmg.

I'd prefer to see the tree receive some buffs through means other than LB. The spell is already very powerful and I don't see the need to put more focus on it.

Hello fellow rogues, here comes a trinket question. I have [Meteorite Whetstone] and [Pyrite Infuser] and I am wondering which is better for combat? I assume Pyrite infuser but the whetstone's 444 haste proc is attractive. I am currently combat swords and my OH, [Grasscutter] is a bit slow for how I'd like it, any help would be nice. Thanks and happy raiding!

Thanks for the clarification - it does make sense when you put it that way.

I have Improved FF and Misery off because unfortunately I do not normally have those buffs in our 10-man. I have added the buffs that we normally have to the best of my knowledge (kings, might, totems, sunders).
The spreadsheet shows the following poison miss chances with the three configurations noted above:
1) 2.39% (0 added crit rating, 4884.1dps)
2) 3.16% (20 added crit rating, 4883.7dps)
3) 3.92% (40 added crit rating, 4883.1dps)
And yes I need a new MH.

It's not noobrealm, completely, e.g. my offspec which is asked by my guild only 10% of the time, needed to cap expertise, the gem with 10 would overcap anyway so I went with an 8. I was also short of money too hehe.

??T7
It might just bee that most my gear has become out dated but with the recent patch Death coil has stepped out and become my best source of damage...with the focus on the runic power generated from chill of the grave and dirge i was wondering if the 4 set would be worth using; especially with that 70 sec bs/bt ob rotation

Unless I can find a way to drop enough hit to make the Yogg trinket usable, but I don't see that being doable.
T7 4 piece is good - it always has been - but it still isn't worth using over T8. The T7 4p causes you to generate 170 RP per 20 seconds instead of 150 RP per 20. That's a 13.333% increase in how many DCs you can throw (and, as such, how much damage your UB deals). The T8 2p, on the other hand, is a flat 15% increase in your DC (and thus UB) damage, meaning it is easily superior (plus, it scales with extra DCs from AMS RP). This, in addition to the higher stats, makes T8 still way above it.
Edit - Don't know how to make the Wowhead link show the Dark Matter trinket instead of the quest item, but whatever ><.

I really honestly love unholy and this OB build that gives so much more RP is making me really compete in dps still after the nerf. which makes me happy ^^

Spriest Rotation in 3.2
What's the best rotation for a Shadow Priest in 3.2, is it the same as 3.1? or different?
