Hunters, like all physical dps, have a base 8% chance to miss. So capping requires 8% or 263 rating. Being a Dranei will reduce that to 7%. Focused Aim can also be used to reduce it (by 1% per point).

Hey, I'm a bit new to this forum and I noticed somone asking about the use of edge of ruin and ironsoul and I was just wondering what weapon I should use. I currently have ironsoul in my main hand and Death's Bite in my off hand. By chance I have acquired 2 Edge of Ruins, which if I equip will get beserking. I will not get rid of deaths bite until I get another sufficient item to keep the 8% hit cap up, but I was just wondering what I should do once I get this item, equip 2 edges of ruin or just one? which weapons would be best?

Can anyone let me know on what page Epidemic was discussed in detail in this thread?
I'm really beginning to find that it conflicts with death runes, and that my rotations would actually be better with 6 seconds off my diseases.

Edit - Very good link! That answers it perfectly, then yes, Exp recieves its full value for every rating!

With this in mind will it be worth gemming to hit the expertise cap and then gemming the rest ArP? I was capped with Worldcarver as my DPS/Tank weapon but I picked up the server first Justicebringer and lost a huge chunk of expertise. Currently using Bandit's Insignia/Greatness until I can pick up other trinkets as well.

While there is a blue post asking a question as if it's a bug, I think it's a mis-communication. I won't be surprised to see ArP nerfed because every spec that uses it will be able to cap it in H ToC/ToC gear.

oh, that is the first i have heard of the ArP nerf, i figured it was going to come to it at some point.. new gear just keeps getting more and more ArP, i was easily making cap in ulduar gear with MR

Hey Ive been having trouble with my dps recently and I had some quick questions. I've been using one of the spreadsheets I found on the forums and its reading that I should be doing around 6000dps. I'm geared pretty well, and I'm doing a cycle of 5snd/5r/5e combat, but yesterday during our raid 10man, I hit about 4.5 - 5K on most bosses. I know Im doing my rotation right, but Im just not sure if some stat is too high or low that might be messing me up or if my spec is wrong? Not only that when using the spreadsheet, I put in Grimtoll instead of Mirror of Truth because it says that it is a big dps upgrade, but when I do it goes down considerably. Any help would be great

When I was below Exp soft cap, it hurt my dps a little bit on those like kologarn, auriaya and yogg. There are some fights which requires you to be in front of the boss at all times or some of the time. Which if your not expertise soft cap, you will notice that you'll be seeing more dodge on top of the parry you'll be getting. Gemming for Expertise is a good idea imo.
