I understand why a single, extended simulation would be a single-core process, but it is not possible to split up the multiple short fight tests to multiple cores? This could make such simulations considerably faster.
I am not good at theorycraftspeak, etc, it is way over my simple head I just want to know, what numbers I need to be shooting for on crit, haste, int, and spi. Simple things, easy for a peon to understand.
Hit is well defined in the first post "you need 368 unbuffed without suppression", but the other stats, not so much.
Since the advent of dual-spec system, I have been longing to try MM spec. However, it has been said many times that MM shouldn't be used until one of the Ar-pen trinkets is obtained and Ar-pen soft cap is reached. However, when plugging in my current specs into the newest spreadsheet (in which LnL proc is already set to 20%), MM spec (Agility-based, keeping Arcane Shot in rotation) is showing me almost 400 dps increase (raid-buffed) compared to my regular Surv spec.
However, when trying out the rotation in the dummy, I can't seem to surpass my Surv dps record. Please review my rotations below :
--Priority is : Initial Serpent >KS>CS>Arcane>Aimed>Steady .
--During Improved SS proc, I will wait as long as possible till either CS or Aimed is off CD, doing Steady shots in between while ignoring Arcane even though it is off-CD.
--When Readiness is off-CD, I will Rapid fire - Kill Command - CS - Aimed - wait till all KC charges are used - Readiness and repeat.
Is it that MM spec with Arcane only viable on paper but not on real situation?
First off my name is "Teufelkneife" and i play on the Spinebreaker (Or Spinebroken) server lol.
Ive been raiding on my Enhance Shaman actively for the past 4 months or so ... i took a break from him and played a warrior tank for a while but ive gotten back into my shaman figured out how we work at 80 caps rotations etc. and now im running one of the top DPS in our guilds 25 and 10 man raids but ive come to a interesting place.
I currently have Mark Of Norg. (Abv) as one of my trinkets and im wondering how the heck i should or what for the matter switch this out with. I just picked up the Exp. and 250 Stacking trinket from 10 man heroic ToC but i actually think that the Haste on the Mark might be better simply because it affects a multitude of things rather then just Melee DPS ... it affects cast times LB and MW procs and also Melee.
Basicially im trying to figure out a good way to drop the trinket if it isnt that all good.
I Have the Mirror of truth but i doubt thats a good swap considering the same thing i said about the Exp. Stack trinket.
Also i have the Pyrite Infuser in my other trinket slot.
How important is Agility compared to ArP? I know this sounds like a stupid question, but from what i have heard and read it seems that Agility for the most part is the way to go. Should a hunter get the ArP from just gear itself and gem for agility all the way, or should AP be added as well? Please give me your feedback on this.
Yes. The 368 horde hit cap assumes that there is a Spriest or Boomkin in the raid. It also assumes that you are grouped with a Draenei, and that you have not taken the supression talent in the affliction tree.
