I am not sure about lower level poisons being overridden, but I do know that when you hit level 80 and get Deadly Poison IX, fellow rogues consuming it does not affect your stack at all.

Etc...
I believe that Bink's spreadsheet, both the current and 'beta' versions will answer each and every one of your questions, including the trinket comparison. Spend this time with it, as it is truly an elemental's best friend.

Maces

With a combat spec are maces only viable with one of the two ArP trinkets.

I currently use 10M ToC Mace and 10M ToC 1.40 Dagger.

This question relates to my rogue.

No, it has nothing to do with other rogues consuming my stack.
Apparently its simply a bug - it seems that deadly poison follows the same rule as regular debuffs follow, higher rank overrides lower rank (and lower rank will give an error when applied), even though different players are supposed to have separate stacks.

To the guy below me, I mentioned I was 79 when I observed it (I didn't get a single stack within 5 kills of brewfest boss).

OK I am just going to put this out there, there is no reason to be making a big deal out of which spec does better AoE.
Yes there is a big deal to be made out of it now, actually. The hardest fight ingame currently requires excellent AOE, and it's not a gimmicky aspect of the encounter that can be ignored. Traditionally in the past AOE has never been that much of a big deal in most fights. You might AOE on Freya, but did it really matter whether your Arcane spec AOE dps was slightly worse than your Frost spec AOE dps? Other fights where we sometimes AOE, like Kologarn with living bomb, were just gimmicky.

I'd like to try a Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft build on the fight. The main question is whether its worth trying to use Firestarter Flamestrikes, Blastwave, Dragon's breath etc - or just sticking to Blizzard and Living Bomb entirely. Flamestrike radius is horrible, Dragon's Breath cone is a little too narrow. I can't imagine they would be useful if a guild uses a 2 adds->2 tanks split strategy. Perhaps on a 4 adds->1 tank setup it might be more reasonable.

If attempting to use Flamestrike is deemed not worth it, shuffling a few points into Shatter or Frost Channeling (depending on whether Frostbite can proc on the adds) for another option, Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft

What are some other variations people are considering for an optimal heroic Anub'arak 25 talent spec? Ultimately what I ended up with was just a very standard looking FFB spec, just shedding range talents to flesh out Frost Channeling.

It's actually an excel spreadsheet and the latest can usually be found here: http://elitistjerks.com/blogs/binkenstein/
Be aware though that the latest is built on the forthcoming 3.2.2 changes.

I would also recommend the discussion about the spreadsheet in the forums which can be found here: [Elemental] SEIC Spreadsheet - v3

Enjoy!

Inconventional Weapon Swap Macro

Hi, I need help with making macro that switches my mainhand and offhand weapons to different
ones of same type after macro button press, then after pressing macro button again it switches
my mainhand and offhand weapons to previous ones.
I was digging in some forums and found out how to make script to switching mainhand and offhand
in separately:
'/run EquipItemByName(IsEquippedItem("Mainhand1") and "Mainhand2" or "Mainhand1")' for mainhand swap
'/run EquipItemByName(IsEquippedItem("Offhand1") and "Offhand2" or "Offhand1")' for offhand swap

I have no idea how to combine both scripts into one, I know it's possible so please help!

@toodels, very nice UI. I know some people are going to say it is too busy, but I really like the layout and the level of information displayed. What addon is it above the action bars showing your cast and what ever that icon above it is?

The addon above the castbar is a "timeline" addon,(ForteXorcist) for tracking spells/cooldowns. In this case it looks to be configured to display debuffs, Weakened Soul being the example in the screenshot.

Yes its ForteXorcist It tracks everything in my case its just the typical aoe scene so there is not that much on timeline.

If you dont wanna use Forte, you can also use Coolline for a similar effect.

Actually the Ui is not that busy or at least I dont feel that way It simply displays all information I need to be a good raider (well... damage meters is not that needed, but the rest is definitely good to know).

Why would you want 125 SP + 87 Crit when you could have 200 SP from IDS? do you really have Crit weighted as near 90%+ the value of pure SP in order to make that logical as a side-grade let alone an upgrade?

People are really going a little loony about 4T9 making Crit less useless to the point that half of you seem to want to exchange SP for Crit. 4T9 isn't going to last forever either.

I agree, it's not busy. I like the level of information that is displayed.
