Hi guys.

I am relatively new to WoW, having played a Mage to level 55 and then rolling a DK. At the risk of sounding totally idiotic, what would you guys recommend for the highest DPS? I don't need to tank at the moment, as we have other tanks in the guild that do pretty well. I have gone with a 45 / 0 / 26 spec, favoring the Blood tree.

This is where my questions come in.

#1 - Is the spec any good at all? If not, what would you recommend?

#2 - What attack rotation should I use?

hey guys, i have a small question
for a destro lock atm glyphs used are : immo, conflag, incin
but glyph of lifetap is very good since its now have a 40 sec duration
my question is how much spirit you need to have so it will be worth swiching glyph of immo with glyph of lifetap,
or maybe glyph of life tap for glyph of incinirate?
(how much dmg in spell power does glyph of incinirate and glyph of immolation worth if its possible to calculate it by spell power)

I have a similar question, regarding the Onyxia 1-hand axe and sword, and if these statless babies would give me an overall dps increase, over the Malice sword I am using in my Main Hand?

it seems to me that the dps calculation for lb is ignoring any aoe effects. While flamestrike and blizzard gain dps with mor etargets or longer aoe durations lb just stays the same dps which is wrong? If this is intended behaviour id very much like to hear about the reasoning behind it

ok,so i was sp vanilla to lolwell,rerolled dk in wrath,completely bored now with dk so levelling my shammie and have been enh to 75,now im gonna roll ele @ 75 when i get lava burst,now checking the 19 sub sections in shammie section i cant find a lvl 80 best talent's/rotation/gems/ etc etc (i have seen glyph's in this thread) so am askin in this thread,sorry for mucking up ur 3.2.2 posts....!

basically can someone post here after me a best spec,i made a 60/11/0 of the top of my head in talent generator http://talent.mmo-champion.com/?sham...C,akUROH,10128 is this any good for end game....?

also whats the gemming tac,what's our most valuable stat,crit? also what is our rotation end game raiding please....?

now i dont want no whining bout "oh ffs,dk rerolling ele,great pfffft" im a mature end game raider completely bored with dk mechanic's and am looking for a new challenge to take me up to cata so i chose to level my shammie who was sitting at 70 since wrath.

sooo,any help will be much appretiated,then ill be on my merry way off the 3.2.2 thread to lvl 80,thanks in advance

Just wanted to post after my first night of raiding Normal 25 ToC/Vault with the new ele changes. I'm currently in t9 4pc with both reign of the dead/flare of the heavens combo(as far as I can tell its the best combo by far). Heres a link to my logs.

In this one night alone, I got 2nd shaman DPS worldwide overall for Koralon(18th DPS worldwide), 10th shaman for Anub Arak, 1st shaman for Beasts, and 5th shaman for Lord J. I run with a demo lock, so I get to use fire ele on a few of the fights(Koralon, Beasts, and Anub). Overall I'm incredibly content with the buffs we recieved, and tbh with a demo lock in the raid it feels a little crazy.

Ok, here goes, my first post on Elitist Jerks, so kind of nervous.

I do not respec that much, so I´m trying to make my arcane spec a little more allround. I´m looking at putting points in both IA and MA. However, I seem to recollect something about partial/full resist being calculated first and then absorbs, meaning putting points in MA will lower the return on IA. Is this the case?

Secondly, with the amount of crit on gear these days, how much DPS is AP? According to Rawr I calculate it to around 100 DPS. Can anybody confirm this, as I really don´t trust myself with Rawr.

The envenom buff(dmg from AP increase) and MP really helped me I think.

Before patch I was getting 2.8-2.9dps on the test dummy, self buffed of course. I ran the test multiple times also. After patch I'm now hitting 3.1-3.2dps on the dummy consistently with no change in gear, gems or enchants.

Yeap my gear is pretty bad ( but I love the game nonetheless ... thats whats hurting me

) - Haste is around 118 and as far as latency goes I have always had between 200 - 300 ms , but played very well ...I think I`ll skip the macro and just use 2 butons instead ...

I think you mean /cast [nochanneling] Arcane Blast

Yes, because this is equivalent to standing around for <latency time> not casting. If your latency is about constant, you can practice to start the next AB early and not clip the AM (easy to try at the dummy, just look in recount at the number of AM-hits, which should be divisible by 5).
